Strong to suppress the snickering in his heart, Lin decided to take a part of it first, and the rest, when he called his family to help pick it up. Therefore, Lin Mou randomly grabbed a handful of gold jewelry in the pit and stuffed it into his pocket, and then trotted all the way to the direction of home.
Although Lin Mou has been very careful, his strange behavior was discovered by other members along the way. This part of the people who came late naturally returned empty-handed, and there were many unhappiness in their hearts, but they also complained about who, who let themselves know that the news was late?
For the next few days, the members of the society who had picked up the gold jewelry stopped working, and everyone closed the door and hid at home with their families to discuss what to do with the treasures they had found.
At this moment, the staff of the district cultural management team came to the door, and they claimed to have received a report that someone had dug up gold at Zhuangwang Mountain, and they suspected that the gold was related to the ancient tomb and belonged to cultural relics.
At first, none of the people who had found the gold jewellery admitted that they had found it, but when the staff of the cultural management team declared the consequences of private possession of the cultural relics, the people handed over the gold ornaments they had found.
In just one morning, the staff confiscated all these cultural relics, and after counting, a total of 107 gold artifacts including gold crowns, golden hairpins, gold belt plates, gold inlaid jade and other utensils were counted!
Looking at the dazzling gold objects, the staff was happy to blossom in their hearts, and they could not imagine that a small community village had confiscated so many gold objects at once. Soon, the news reached the county, and the archaeologists in the county were so excited that they expressed their willingness to go to the countryside to investigate, because, with a keen sense of professional smell, experts concluded that there must be ancient tombs hidden on Zhuangwang Mountain.
Next, the experts surveyed the terrain of Zhuangwang Mountain, and sure enough, an ancient tomb was found in the place where Lin found the gold ware!
This is a Ming Dynasty tomb, and the owner of the tomb is Wang Shiqi and his wife, who are the heroes of the Ming Dynasty.
Wang Shiqi, a native of Linhai, Taizhou, Zhejiang, was a Ming Dynasty general, military strategist, and second son of Wang Zongmu. Born in the thirtieth year of Ming Jiajing (1551) and died in the forty-sixth year of the Wanli Calendar (1618), he belonged to the Ming Dynasty's civil servants, and was a member of the Ming Dynasty's military ministers, who gave advice and painstaking efforts in the matter of the Ming Dynasty's resistance to the Wu Dynasty, and was quite meritorious, and was praised as "a marginal talent", but because of his low-key and humble personality, his deeds were not as famous as other anti-Wu generals such as Qi Jiguang and Yu Dayu.
Although he was a civilian minister, Wang Shiqi's life was not without legend, recruiting Yang Yinglong, supporting Qi Jiguang, commanding and defeating the Wukou Pingyi Zhibu, and even later going to Korea to defeat Toyotomi Hideyoshi with his strategy, so that the invasion fantasies of the Wukou were in vain.
Wang Shiqi was honest and frugal, and although he was the official to the right deputy capital, Yushi, and inspector Datong, his family was short of rice and salt for a long time, and there was almost no silver. According to historical records, Wang Shiqi's feng lu and savings were mostly used to help poor people in addition to helping relatives and friends.
In the forty-sixth year of the Wanli Calendar, the 67-year-old Wang Shiqi became ill due to the accumulation of cases, first had a serious illness, was bedridden, and soon left the world.
It is said that when Wang Shiqi died, his family could only afford to buy a dilapidated coffin, and the coffin board had to be wrapped in a reed mat to be buried, and this was also Wang Shiqi's instructions to his family when he was dying.
If this is the case, why are there so many gold objects in Wang Shiqi's tomb?
The news of Wang Shiqi's death soon reached Yanjing, and the Chongzhen Emperor Zhu Youjian was so grief-stricken that he immediately expressed his intention to bury the Ming Emperor and made arrangements: he gave several pieces of royal gold to accompany Wang Shiqi for burial, and repaired the outer mound.
This also explains why there are so many treasures in Wang Shiqi's tomb.
After the experts sorted out and numbered the 107 cultural relics, it was finally determined that 22 of these cultural relics were designated as national first-class cultural relics, and the total value of these 107 gold objects was conservatively estimated at about 1 billion!
The vicissitudes of the sea and the mulberry fields, the vicissitudes of the wind and clouds, although the tombs of a generation of famous courtiers have been repaired by the royal family, but in the end they have not been able to withstand the erosion of the years, because the Zhuangwang Mountain belt is rainy, in 1954, the stele in front of Wang Shiqi's tomb was washed several times by heavy rain, and finally it was destroyed, until it was discovered by Lin Mou that day...
Today, these cultural relics unearthed from Wang Shiqi's tomb are collected in the Zhejiang Provincial Museum, and many of them have become the treasures of the museum. These treasures are exquisite and gorgeous, representing the highest level of gold production in the Wanli Dynasty, and are well-deserved cultural relics and treasures!
