On the morning of May 1, the special exhibition of Chu cultural relics unearthed in Huainan area - pictures of the excavation progress of Wuwangdun and some physical objects was launched in Huainan Museum. The all-media reporter of Huainan Daily saw at the scene that the exhibition of "Fuping Jun" inscription bronze tiger seat, bells, chimes and other precious Wuwangdun unearthed cultural relics, attracting the general public and tourists to visit the exhibition and feel the unique charm of Wuwangdun at zero distance.

Wuwangdun Tomb is the largest, highest-level, and most complex large-scale high-grade tomb of Chu State in mainland China that has been scientifically excavated, and was included in the key project of "Archaeological China" in 2020, and was listed in the key points of work in 2024 by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, and was announced as a provincial cultural relics protection unit by the Anhui Provincial Government. After archaeological investigation and exploration, the Wuwangdun tomb now preserves the main tomb, the burial tomb, the sacrificial pit and the length of 148 meters of carriage and horse pit and other important relics, the whole cemetery covers an area of more than 2,100 acres. Since 2020, archaeologists have focused on the excavation of the main tomb, and have found more than 300 wooden figurines, groups of bronze ritual vessels, and more than 100 sentences of ink script and nearly 1,000 characters have been found and collected on the coffin cover.

Wuwangdun echoes with the ruins of Shouchun City, forming a Chu cultural corridor that runs through the western part of Huainan City, and there are a large number of noble tombs and small and medium-sized tombs of Chu during the Warring States Period within the scope of this corridor, which is an important Chu cultural relics in Huainan area, and a large number of precious Chu cultural relics have been unearthed.

The archaeological excavation of the tomb of King Wudun in Huainan has attracted wide attention from all walks of life, and the archaeological excavation work is being carried out in an intense and orderly manner. In order to help the general public further understand the thick Chu culture, under the guidance of the Huainan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the Huainan Museum and the Huainan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology co-sponsored the "Special Exhibition of Chu Cultural Relics Unearthed in Huainan Area - Pictures of the Excavation Progress of Wuwangdun and Some Physical Temporary Exhibition", which shows the history and culture of Chu and the excavation progress of Wuwangdun Tomb in the form of words, pictures and some unearthed cultural relics. It is reported that the exhibition will last from May 1 to August 31, and citizens and tourists can make an online reservation through the WeChat public account of Huainan Museum, or go to Huainan Museum to register for the exhibition.
