Twenty-six rounds of ammunition were also distributed to him, and the communications platoon leader asked Sun Yubin to swear to death to protect the safety of the phone. After Sun Yubin got the gun and ammunition, he pinned the gun to his back and immediately hid in the pit to protect the phone.
The current situation on the battlefield is irreversible, and the victory of the Northwest Field Army is a foregone conclusion. At three o'clock in the afternoon, under the fierce attack of the People's Liberation Army, all the officers and men of the entire 53rd Brigade of the Ninety Division were killed. The People's Liberation Army marched all the way south, and it was overwhelming. When approaching Wazi Street, in addition to the military attack, the People's Liberation Army also launched a political offensive, shouting everywhere: "As long as the Kuomintang surrenders its weapons and surrenders, it can keep them alive." ”
Sun Yubin was very panicked after hearing the cries of the People's Liberation Army, and he also knew that the defeat of the Kuomintang was inevitable. At this time, Yan Ming's division commander called and asked him to immediately answer the phone of the Sixty-first Brigade. Sun Yubin immediately did so, but he found that the telephone line was cut off, and he could not dial the phone of the Sixty-first Brigade at all. Yan Ming was angry, he left the command post, he immediately took out his gun and fired two shots at Sun Yubin, fortunately, Sun Yubin was clever and quick to dodge, and the two bullets hit him behind him to the pit.

When the bomb exploded, Yan Ming's body was also blown up and thrown high, and fell into the mud.
The people in the command post could not imagine that the moment the division commander walked out of the command post in a hurry, it was the last side they saw, and that side was a farewell.
