The hot sales of the Hongguang MINI EV quickly went out of the circle, from domestic red to foreign countries, which aroused great concern in Japan. The Asahi Shimbun published an article titled "The Impact of 430,000 Yen Electric Vehicles in China," highlighting the high cost performance of the Hongguang MINI EV.
