On December 30, 2021, 15 buses equipped with the automotive proton exchange membrane fuel cell system independently developed by Jie Hydrogen Technology were delivered to Jiading Bus, Jinshan Bus and Fengxian Bus as operating vehicles. This is the largest batch of hydrogen fuel cell buses delivered in Shanghai and is expected to be put into use in early 2022.
The vehicles delivered this time are equipped with PROME P390 hydrogen fuel cell system, which is a vehicle proton exchange membrane fuel cell system independently developed by Jiading enterprise "Jie Hydrogen Technology", which has the advantages of integrated integration, high power density, high durability and high reliability. Compared with the PROME P260 fuel cell system of Jie Hydrogen Technology carried by Jiading 114 Road, the first fuel cell bus line in Shanghai, the hydrogen fuel cell system has been improved in terms of power.
According to reports, the hydrogen fuel cell bus fuel refueling time is about 15 minutes, which is significantly reduced compared with the 3-4 hour charging time of electric vehicles, which can effectively improve the operational efficiency of buses. In addition, the hydrogen fuel cell system is not afraid of severe cold, and can achieve a fast start-up of -30 °C without auxiliary heat.
