Firefighters from the Jiangxia Road Fire Rescue Station in the jurisdiction rushed to the scene to rescue.

Firefighters learned that the water was 2 to 3 meters deep, and the trapped people were waiting for rescue more than 200 meters from the shore. At this time, the temperature is -7 °C, the weather is severe, the cold wind is biting, and the people who have fallen into the water have lost temperature.

After understanding the situation, the firefighters immediately changed into life jackets, carried warm clothing and other items, and personally drove the kayak to break the ice. After nearly an hour of ice-breaking travel, the firefighters successfully reached the location of the drowning personnel, and the shore firefighters pulled the safety rope and dragged the kayak to the shore.

After nearly an hour and a half of hard rescue, the drowning personnel were successfully rescued ashore, and then the firefighters quickly carried the drowned people to the back of the villagers' tricycles and sent them to the hospital for treatment.
