Second, arbitrarily sealing the king, resulting in "Wang Ye Manchu Dynasty, dog tail continued to sable"
Not only that, in order to buy people's hearts, Hong Xiuquan also wantonly crowned his relatives, courtiers, and generals as kings, and even the cooks and coachmen who served him were crowned kings, with more than 2,700 people, which can really be described as "Wang Ye Man Dynasty, Dog Tail Continued Sable"!
But Hong Xiuquan also became a "god stick" before his death, and the next edict falsely claimed:
"The masses are at ease, and they will go to heaven, receive the Heavenly Soldiers from the Heavenly Father and Heavenly Brother, and guarantee the Heavenly Capital."
Even if you say: You can rest assured, I will go to Heavenly Father Heavenly Brother to move troops to save the city, and soon I will be able to lift the siege of Tianjing, Hong Xiuquan is from the beginning to the end, what he thinks and does is very absurd.
Third, deceive yourself and falsely claim that you have the help of your Heavenly Father and Heavenly Brother
In 1862, Zeng Guoquan led the main force of the Xiang Army to besiege Tianjing (Nanjing), and fierce fighting broke out between the two sides outside Tianjingcheng, and soon the Taiping Army lost all the strategic points of Tianjing.
At this time, Tianjing was obviously unable to hold on, and the best way was to break through, but Hong Xiuquan still only knew how to have fun, thinking that the Qing army could not enter Tianjing, and he thought that he had a heavenly father and heavenly brother to save the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in times of danger.
Despite the precarious situation, Hong Xiuquan was still addicted to wine every day and did not care about the war outside the city.
In November 1863, Zeng Guoquan had occupied Xiaolingwei outside Nanjing, the situation was extremely tense, Li Xiu saw that the situation was critical, so he strongly persuaded Hong Xiuquan that he should abandon Nanjing, lead a team to Zhejiang, Gansu and other provinces to fight guerrillas, and once the time was ripe, he could kill again.
As far as the situation at that time was concerned, the Taiping Army still occupied a large area of land in Jiangnan, with a huge strength of hundreds of thousands of troops, and was allied with the Twist Army, which was active in the Central Plains, and even if it was to re-fight guerrillas, it would be completely promising.
But Hong Xiuquan was very angry and scolded Li Xiucheng, believing that there must be a Heavenly Father and Heavenly Brother who would save him, and was not afraid of the Qing army besieging him.
Fourth, there is no grain and grass, but it is said that manna can be eaten and maintained health
Although Li Xiucheng was helpless, but he still loved the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in his heart, he told the Heavenly King City that there was no grain and grass, but Hong Xiuquan replied: "Heavenly Father Tuomeng told him that manna can be eaten and also maintained health."
The so-called "nectar" is a weed. Li Xiucheng also reported earlier that some people had eaten these weeds and were poisoned, but Hong Xiuquan did not listen, and he ate these things vegetarianly and was quickly poisoned.
After the illness, Hong Xiuquan, believing that his heavenly father had blessed him, refused to accept treatment, and soon became terminally ill (another version: suicide by taking poison), and in June 1864, his soul returned to the "kingdom of heaven" at the age of 51.
Shortly after Hong Xiuquan's death, the Tianjing City was destroyed, and the so-called Heavenly Soldiers did not come, but waited for the Xiang Army.
Just 50 days after Hong Xiuquan's death, Nanjing fell. After the Xiang army conquered Nanjing, hong Xiuquan's coffin was excavated in the back garden of the Tianwang Palace, and his body was cut into dozens of pieces, and then his bones were burned to ashes. "Slaughter the corpse, and burn it with fire!"
After that, the Qing army put the bones of The Hong Sect Master into the cannon, and with the sound of a cannon, Hong Xiuquan really ascended to heaven.
Throughout his life, Hong Xiuquan was a speculator, who attained his personal desires in the name of religion, but eventually disappeared with the sound of the cannon.
