The difference between standard OLED and OLED EX is that the latter uses deuterium compounds instead of ordinary old hydrogen, which is combined with LG's unique algorithm to display the details and colors of video content more realistically.
In addition, OLED EX technology can also be further reduced by the screen bezel. Take the 65-inch OLED TV as an example, which will be able to reduce the bezel width from 6 mm to 4 mm.
From the second quarter of 2022, LG Display's OLED EX technology will be used at oled plants in Paju, South Korea, and Guangzhou, China, to produce OLED EX TVs.
