On December 30, Dongfeng Honda's new Alexand was officially launched, launching a total of 4 models, priced at 279,800-33.18 million yuan, as a medium-term redesign, the new Alexand uses the latest design of the family in terms of appearance and interior, and the new Alexand will be equipped with Honda's third-generation i-MMD hybrid system.
From the outside, the new Alexand uses a protruding through-feed grille, with horizontal trims and longitudinal chrome accents to make the front face look more stylish. The chrome trim above the grille is also integrated with the headlights, widening the overall front of the car. The headlights group still uses an LED light source with a running water turn signal effect.
On the side of the body, the new Alexand still uses the overall shape of the old model, and the body is slender and calm. The 18-inch wheels are standard throughout the series, and the spoke style looks very elegant and advanced, while the "Hybrid" logo on the side of the body has been removed. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new Alexand are 4951*1842*1711mm, and the wheelbase is 2900mm.
The design of the rear of the car is more exquisite than the old molding, the tail lights on the left and right sides are connected by a chrome decoration, and the LED tail lights use blackening treatment, and the overall shape is more three-dimensional and more heavy. At the same time, the "Hybrid" logo at the tail is replaced by an "e:HEV" new hybrid logo, highlighting its hybrid identity. It is worth mentioning that the new Alexand also added a kick-type electric tailgate to further enhance convenience.
In terms of interior, the new Alexand adopted a new design, and the brown color of the old model was changed to Burgundy red color, and a new white interior color was added. The dashboard was upgraded from the old 3.5-inch to the 7-inch TFT LCD meter, while the central control screen was also upgraded from the old 8-inch to a 10.1-inch large screen, with a built-in Honda CONNECT 3.0 intelligent guidance interconnection system, supporting AI intelligent assistant, car home interconnection, convenient electronic payment, OTA and other functions.
The new Alexand is also equipped with Honda SENSING "Safety Super Sense" system, which integrates ACC active cruise control system (with LSF low-speed following function), CMBS collision mitigation braking system, FCW pre-collision warning system, LKAS lane keeping assist system, RDM lane offset suppression system, LDW lane offset early warning system and TSR traffic sign intelligent identification system, relying on radar and camera at the front of the vehicle to detect road conditions in real time to ensure a safer driving experience.
In terms of power, the new Alexand is equipped with Honda's third-generation i-MMD hybrid system, with a 2.0L engine with a maximum power of 107 kW (146 hp) / 6200 rpm, a maximum torque of 175 Nm / 3500 rpm, a maximum power of 135 kW (184 hp) and a maximum torque of 315 Nm for the drive motor, and a system with a comprehensive power of 158 kW (215 hp), matching the E-CVT gearbox. The comprehensive fuel consumption per 100 km is only 6.17L (WLTC test standard).
