At this time, Xuanzong still did not know what was happening, and the forbidden army surrounded Ma Songyi.
After Emperor Xuanzong learned that Yang Guozhong had been killed by the Forbidden Army, he was surrounded only by Gao Lishi and Wei Shi's father and son, of whom Wei Jiansu was seriously injured. After Emperor Xuanzong went out of the post in plain clothes to comfort the forbidden army, the forbidden army remained unbroken, and then Chen Xuanli spoke on behalf of the public and demanded that the noble concubine be killed. At first, Emperor Xuanzong refused and retreated into the station, and Gao Lishi negotiated specific matters on behalf of Emperor Xuanzong and Chen Xuanli. Under the strong persuasion of Wei Chen and the mediation of Gao Lishi, Emperor Xuanzong finally compromised and ordered the death of the noble concubine, and after Chen Xuanli's inspection, he told the four armies and the Ma Song Incident ended.
