If the patient's blood vessel stenosis is small and the symptoms of cerebral ischemia are not serious, collateral circulation can be formed, which is relatively fast in the later stage of the disease and the prognosis effect is better. However, if the blockage is a large blood vessel and the blockage area is large, the scope of cerebral ischemia will also increase, and the damage to the brain tissue structure will be more serious, and the prognosis effect will naturally become worse.

4. The nature of blood clots
If the thrombus is very loose, it can follow the blood circulation, and the process may rupture and flow into the distal end of the blood circulation, if it is a patient who blocks small blood vessels, the prognosis effect is naturally better.
However, if fat, bacteria, and ambient air embolus appear, the prognosis is relatively poor. In addition, cardiogenic embolism may be complicated with brain abscesses, which have a very poor prognosis.
5. Influenced by other factors
In addition to the above four points, whether there are related complications, the age and physical fitness of patients also determine the prognosis of cerebral infarction. If the patient is older, has extremely poor physical fitness, and has other cardiovascular chronic diseases, it may not only recur in the future, but also often leave serious sequelae, and when it recurs again, the patient may die from it.
