We know that in history, the Ming Dynasty is considered to be the most righteous dynasty. Because the founding emperor Zhu Yuanzhang was the real bottom of society, he also drove away Meng Yuan with real swords and real guns and destroyed the princes.

In this process, Zhu Yuanzhang had seen too many tragic images in the world, too many people who did not care about life, too many upheavals and displacements, his own family, his parents died, there was no coffin, there was no burial place, brothers and sisters were also precarious, dead deaths, fleeing refugees, and sneaking lives.

Everywhere they went, the people they saw were all miserable and their lives were ruined, but the officials they came into contact with were all acting as a blessing, exploiting the people, and frequently creating all kinds of man-made disasters on top of natural disasters, causing anger and resentment.

From that time on, he developed a deep dislike and anger in his heart toward these corrupt officials and evil officials. He believed that a large part of the reason why the people were not doing well was brought by the officials.

Therefore, after he came to power later, he tried every means to reduce the burden on the people, seek redress for the people, and never forget that he was a "Huai Right Cloth Dress". He said, "I raise millions of soldiers without costing the people a grain of rice." Every time he hears that officials are corrupt, he is furious and must be brought to justice, whether the greedy people are one or two, or one hundred and eleven thousand, and they will all be dealt with.

He hated those who oppressed the people, as long as he embezzled 60 taels of silver, he would not let him go directly, and he would "peel the real grass" and make a straw man hang in the official office as a warning. It was even ordered that if ordinary people found that officials were corrupt and illegal, they could be caught and sent to the Capital Division.

After his administration, the Ming Dynasty recovered from the withering of the end of the Yuan Dynasty and accumulated considerable wealth, otherwise why was Zhu Di so able to toss it later? Can you do it without money?

Even after Zhu Yuanzhang's death, the first sentence of his testament was, "Thirty years after the Mandate of Heaven, I have been worried about danger, I have been diligent every day, and I will benefit the people." ”

If you stand on the side of an official, Zhu Yuanzhang is a demon for eternity; but if you stand on the side of the common people, Zhu Yuanzhang is a great benevolent king.
