Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Xi'an has carried out several rounds of nucleic acid testing, and Wei Xiaoli, deputy director of the Xi'an Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, replied at yesterday's epidemic press conference that the reason for multiple rounds of nucleic acid testing:
First, because the new crown virus has a certain incubation period, a small number of infected people have intermittent detoxification phenomenon, and sampling is only a time point, if the sampling is not detoxified or the virus concentration is not enough at that time, below the lower limit of detection, it may not be detected, especially for asymptomatic infected people, the early detoxification level is not high, and the virus concentration in the body is very low.
Second, factors such as the depth of throat swab collection during sampling, the location and the time when the throat swab comes into contact with the mucous membrane will also affect the accuracy of the results. If the sampling method is not standardized, the appropriate part cannot be collected, which may cause missed detection.

There are 229 existing control areas, strictly implementing the "people do not leave the area, it is strictly forbidden to gather", every two days a household can go out to the designated place in the community to buy daily necessities, the time does not exceed 2 hours. At the same time, as of 12 o'clock today, 28,983 people in Xi'an city were still in centralized isolation in the hotel.
The press conference stressed that due to the spread of nucleic acid screening, there may be a large number of reported cases in the next few days, and the general public should not panic. It is reported that at present, Xi'an City's nucleic acid screening has set up a total of 4485 sampling points, 11808 sampling stations, organized more than 31,000 sampling personnel, as of 12 o'clock today, the cumulative sampling of 11.5826 million people in this round.
In terms of transportation, on December 25, the Xi'an Highway Administration Bureau released the distribution map of the epidemic prevention and control inspection points of the city's ordinary trunk highways, and the control inspection points are divided into three situations: prohibiting the passage of all vehicles, prohibiting the passage of vehicles returning to xi'an, and controlling the inspection points of epidemic prevention. According to the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission, Xi'an Has pursued responsibility for 4 grass-roots party organizations and units that have failed to prevent and control the epidemic, handled 26 relevant responsible persons, and reported and exposed 2 cases and 14 people.
