It is worth mentioning that Ford Mustang Mach-E uses NCM811 ternary lithium batteries from BYD, as for why lithium iron phosphate blade batteries are not used, one is because Ford and BYD cooperated earlier, and blade batteries were not born at that time; second, blade battery production capacity is limited, and it is mainly supplied to BYD itself.
Of course, with the deepening of the cooperation between the two, the possibility of Ford using BYD blade batteries is not ruled out in the future.
