Unlike the content of the Internet of Vehicles that everyone understands, the application of the Internet of Vehicles not only serves the application of intelligent networked vehicles such as assisted driving and high-level automatic driving, but also effectively solves systemic engineering problems such as traffic efficiency and urban governance. Safety efficiency applications such as traffic light status reminders and intersection collision warnings have also gained a wide consensus.

According to the Institute of Information and Communications Technology, up to now, more than 4,000 vehicles have been deployed in China's vehicle network roadside communication infrastructure, including more than 3,500 roads in key cities and more than 500 highways. At the same time, key road sections and typical scenarios are also actively promoting the deployment of road test perception computing systems and the improvement of 5G cellular network capabilities.

At the same time, the Academy of Information and Communications Technology said that the coordinated development of automobile networking and intelligence, automakers have launched L2+ assisted driving applications. Among them, FAW Hongqi and GAC Aegean released C-V2X mass production models for the Internet of Vehicles. At present, China already has an C-V2X vehicle-grade chip module with independent intellectual property rights, forming an international market competitiveness, and 5G infrastructure construction is at the forefront of the world.
