Eliminating the physical SIM card slot means that the original space can be freed up for a more extreme slim design or equipped with a larger capacity battery, which is obviously very attractive to consumers.

Apple's removal of the physical SIM card slot is actually not surprising, before the eSIM card function has been widely present in Apple's devices, it can be said to be a very mature communication technology. Apple's previously cut off 3.5mm headphone jack has mixed reviews at the consumer level, but it does contribute to a more extreme mobile phone design.
