According to reports, this W680 motherboard is equipped with two notebook memory slots, supporting up to 64GB DDR4-3200 memory, supporting ECC memory models; equipped with an M.2 2280 slot and an M.2 3042/3052 slot, equipped with a PCIe Gen4 x16 slot; supporting 12-28V DC-in power supply.

In terms of interface, this motherboard is equipped with two 2.5G ethernet ports, equipped with two HDMI 2.0 ports and a DP1.4 interface.

IT House has reported that on the latest W680 platform, Intel is opening up ECC memory support for 12th generation Core consumer processors for the first time. For many years, Intel's entry-level workstation platforms were only ECC-backed by Xeon series processors, a feature that ensures reliable system operation at high memory capacities.

ECC memory, that is, the application of memory modules that can implement error checking and correction technology (ECC), is generally used on servers and workstations. Current consumer-grade DDR5 memory supports on-die ECC, but its error checking and correction is not as effective as true server/workstation ECC memory.
