Apple: The iPhone 15 Pro series or will use a true full screen

Rumors about the iPhone 14 have spread around, and recent news about the iPhone 15 has also flowed out.

In the previous iPhone 14 revelations, more and more news proved that the iPhone 14 will no longer use the bangs screen, but use the exclamation point style screen of the digging hole.

Is this what you imagine your new iPhone looks like? If it's not long before you have it, if not, don't worry, the new iPhone with better visual design will soon arrive.

Recently, The Elec, a South Korean media familiar with Apple's supply chain, brought heavy news, saying that Samsung Display is developing a new under-screen camera technology for the next-generation iPhone, which can hide Face ID under the screen panel and produce a higher aesthetic sense when it is not working.

If it's fast, next year's iPhone 15 Pro series, we can see the face ID technology under the screen. As the number one supplier of high-end models of the iPhone, Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold series folding screen phone next year is expected to debut with this technology for the front camera.

In 2023, this is presumably the closest time for Face ID under the screen. Bloomberg Mark Gullman has said that Apple will choose the face ID technology under the screen to create a true full-screen iPhone.

But as far as the current news is concerned, the iPhone 15 series of mobile phones should not be really full screen, but the exclamation point of the iPhone 14 exclamation point is canceled, leaving the round hole of the hole screen.

So since you can hide Face ID under the screen, why can't you hide the camera under the screen together?

This may be related to Samsung's off-screen camera technology.

Previously, Samsung has launched an off-screen camera for use on Galaxy Z Fold 3 folding screen phones. The machine uses a laser drilling solution, combined with eco2 OLED panels with higher light transmittance, optimized pixel aperture, and technology to reduce chromatic aberration, making the off-screen camera a reality.

But the fact is that the camera under the screen is not well hidden, and the selfie effect is also a big gap compared to the digging screen. Obviously, this does not satisfy Apple.

Samsung has also recently partnered with Canada's OTI Lumionics to develop new off-screen camera technology, but it should not be soon applied to mobile phones.

As for when Apple will achieve a real full screen is not certain, iPhone 15 is still more than a year away, maybe Apple left us a surprise.
