Mr. Lin Yutang, a master of traditional Chinese studies, wrote in the "Biography of Su Dongpo" (original preface): "A figure like Su Dongpo is indispensable in the world. ”
Yu Qiuyu, a famous contemporary scholar, loves Su Dongpo and wrote an article for him, saying that his favorite literary artist is Su Dongpo, and in Dongpo's works, the most loved one is "Chibi Fu", and the song "A Smoke and Rain Ren Pingsheng".

(Song) Su Shi
Don't listen to the sound of leaves beating through the forest, why not groan and walk slowly. Bamboo cane mango shoes light victory over horses, who is afraid? A cloud of smoke and rain is a life of peace.
The steep spring wind blows wine awake, slightly cold, but the mountain head obliquely illuminates each other. Looking back at the place where it has always been, returning, there is no wind or rain or sunshine.
This poem feels very elegantly written, but the actual situation at that time was actually not satisfactory, which was composed by Su Dongpo when he was degraded to Huangzhou after the "Wutai Poetry Case".

"On March 7th, when it rained in the sand lake road, the rain gear went first, and the peers were all embarrassed, and Yu Du was unconscious. It has been done, so I will do this."
The background of this poem occurred on a rainy day on March 7, Su Dongpo and his friends went to Shahu Lake together, originally took rain gear out of the house, but on the way thought that it would not rain again today, so they let others take the rain gear. Who knew that the sky was not beautiful, and it actually rained halfway. The clothes on his body looked like they were going to be soaked by the rain, the road under his feet was muddy, and his shoes were going to be dirty. At this point, everyone was nervous.
Only Su Shi was not nervous and very calm. So he described the scene at that time in this way: the same sex is confused, and Yu is unconscious.
The depth of this word, most people do not realize:
The reason why Su Shi was not nervous was because he was associated with his degraded life.
This rain is going to fall, and whether I am nervous or not, it is going to fall on me
Just as I am now degraded, life has reached a state of frustration, whether I feel embarrassed or not, this fate can not be avoided, so why not deal with it with a more dashing mentality?
Under such a mentality, in the same line of people, only Su Shi was the only one, who did not look embarrassed in the rain, which was Su Shi's open-minded mentality, "there is no wind and rain and no sunshine."
"Don't listen to the sound of leaves beating through the forest." You see how Su Dongpo wrote this rain, "through the forest", "beating leaves", the rain is not falling down, nor is it sprinkled down, but the penetration is very strong, two very strong blow words, "wear" and "fight", enough to prove that the rain was so strong at that time, it is not difficult to understand the nervousness of same-sex friends at that time.
Then there's the east slope, where the rain is so strong, but you "don't listen." Put the word directly in the front, cut it off, and don't hesitate at all.
Su Dongpo also hinted at his own political attitude with this sentence, and it is enough to do a good job in the new post. Whatever the rain turned out, it didn't stop me from moving on.
"There is no wind or rain or sunshine." At the end of this poem, Su Dongpo said, "There is no wind and rain and no sunshine", some people feel strange after reading it, the weather is nothing more than two kinds of clouds and sunshine, how can there be no wind and rain and no sunshine?
In fact, here Su Dongpo is talking about his own heart. Nature is like the fate of people, sometimes cloudy and sometimes sunny, others will have emotional changes of pride and loss because of these, and Su Dongpo will not, in his heart, there is no possibility of being affected by these.
This means that he has achieved transcendence from the yin and yang, and stands on the change of yin and yang. Just like on the road of life, he transcended the changes in fate and truly achieved not to be happy with things and not to be sad with things.
Although "Fixing the Wind and Waves" is a small word, it writes out the author's rich life experience.
In the hearts of each of us, Su Shi is great because no matter what kind of changes occur at these moments, he will not wear down his fighting spirit. Su Shi's life is not without pride, he also has a moment of standing at the top, but whether he is proud or frustrated, he is a person who can bear it.
Only by not being swayed by desire can we "look back at the place where we have always been, and return, without wind or rain or sunshine." "His own lofty righteousness is not humble and unassuming, and he is not contaminated with filth, so he can straighten his waist in front of the dignitaries and nobles only with his simple bamboo sticks and shoes!"
