Samsung officials said that it is currently using the maximum number of people living in the staff dormitory to ensure the normal operation of the production line, and the specific operation plan in the future needs to be negotiated with the domestic government department.

It is reported that Samsung Electronics arranged for the personnel required for the operation of the production line to stay in the staff dormitory near the factory instead of the private house to avoid contact with the outside world, and is negotiating with the local relevant departments to allow these personnel to enter and exit the factory.

At present, Samsung has two large fabs in Xi'an, mainly manufacturing 3D flash memory, accounting for 42.3% of Samsung's total flash memory production capacity and 15.3% of global production capacity, which is very important for the stability of flash supply.
