Nikkei: SK Hynix plans to double ITS NAND shipments this year

Jiwei Network News, SK Hynix recently said that after the company completed the first phase of the acquisition of Intel's NAND business, it is expected that THE SHIPMENT OF NAND will double.

According to the Nikkei Asia Review, SK Hynix expects the $9 billion deal to help it absorb Intel's computing architecture skills in SSDs or SSDs, a key part of NAND's business. It is understood that SK Hynix completed the acquisition of Intel's SSD division and its manufacturing facility in Dalian, China, in December last year and renamed it Solidigm.

In addition, for the chip shortage, SK Hynix said that the global chip supply shortage will continue in the first half of this year, but it is expected that the situation will gradually improve in the second half of the year.
