The exterior of the new car adopts a new family design language, in which the front face is a large size front grille, embedded with a black honeycomb grille, and the LED headlight groups on both sides seem to be somewhat similar to the irregular shape of the previous generation RAV4; the lower surround is made of coarser frosted material and equipped with LED fog light groups.
Judging from the currently exposed configuration table, the new car will provide a variety of body colors to choose from, with standard 17-inch wheels, one-button start, rear exhaust air outlet, 9-inch central control screen, TSS smart safety system, etc.
The shape on the side of the body is similar to that of the Front Landa, with the exclusive black wheel arch and side encirclement modification of the crossover, with the crisscrossing of multiple waist lines, making the whole car have a touch of "wildness".
The tail also adopts the shape of the tail lamp with a slender strip, a simple ridge design, a thick bumper and other elements, which also echo the front face. In terms of size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4460/1825/1620mm, and a wheelbase of 2640mm.
The interior part, referring to the American version of the Corolla Cross model, basically follows the interior design and layout of the Corolla model, the instrument table and the lower design of the central control are slightly adjusted, and a large storage space is added between the instrument panel and the saddle, so that the overall interior looks and feels more in line with the style of the crossover.
In addition, the new car also offers a variety of configurations for consumers to choose from, including color-block bodywork, front/rear radar, 18-inch rims, front camera, panoramic sunroof and more.
In terms of power, FAW Toyota Corolla Relett is equipped with a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine codenamed M20E, matched with a CVT stepless gearbox, with a maximum power of 126 kW and a maximum torque of 209N·m. The Remot Hybrid version is expected to be launched in 2022.
