Feel the beauty of calligraphy and inherit the cultural heritage. On the 18th, the calligrapher Zhang Xuguang's "Aesthetics and Creation of Contemporary Calligraphy" special calligraphy lecture sponsored by Lvliang Young Calligraphers Association and undertaken by Jinyan Group was held in our city, and nearly 100 calligraphy enthusiasts from all over the province gathered together to listen to the lecture and feel the unique charm of calligraphy.
Zhang Xuguang has devoted himself to the research and exploration of Chinese calligraphy for many years, and has served as the fourth and fifth deputy secretaries-general of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the deputy director of the evaluation committee, the deputy director of the academic committee, the seventh deputy secretary-general of the China Artists Association, and now the artistic director of Rong Baozhai and the deputy director of the Cursive Committee of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. He has successively held solo exhibitions and exchange lectures at the National Art Museum of China, Japan, South Korea, the United States and the United Nations Headquarters, and held lectures and special programs on CCTV, China Education Television, and CCTV Calligraphy and Painting Channel, and his works have been collected by Zhongnanhai, the Great Hall of the People, the National Art Museum of China, the Military Museum, South Korea, and European and American countries, and his works have won the Lanting Award, the highest award of Chinese calligraphy.
In the lecture, Zhang Xuguang gave a wonderful explanation from the future development direction of calligraphy, how to copy and create, the formation of personal style, etc., and combined with specific calligraphy works, answered the problems that calligraphy enthusiasts actually faced in creation, and taught calligraphy lovers the correct way to learn calligraphy works on the spot.
