Chongqing Finance and Economics | Huawei Hongmeng Smart Cockpit "on the car" for the first time It comes from "Made in Chongqing"

Huawei, which has repeatedly stated that it does not build cars, has never stopped its pace in the field of car building. On December 23, at Huawei's winter flagship new product launch, the first medium-sized luxury electric extender SUV under the AITO brand, "AITO Q&A M5", was officially launched. This car is another crystallization of the deep integration of Chongqing Jinkang Cyrus and Huawei.

Xilis and Huawei cooperation go further

On April 19, at the 19th Shanghai Auto Show, Xilis and Huawei reached an in-depth cooperation, and the two sides will deeply integrate technology, products and channels. At the scene, as the first product jointly created by the two parties, Xilis Huawei Smart SF5 was officially launched. Subsequently, the car was quickly rolled into Huawei stores.

On December 2, XILIX Chongqing Liangjiang Smart Factory, as a new high-end smart car brand of Xilix under Xiaokang Co., Ltd., AITO was officially released. At that time, Xu Lin, president of Xilis (rotating), explained that the "one-word difference" between AITO and AUTO was behind a profound change in the concept of travel. We will be committed to every user, to create a new high-end smart car, to bring intelligence into the car, to make the car smarter. At the same time, Xilis also announced that it will build more than 1,000 flagship stores, experience centers and user centers with Huawei next year.

More than half a month later, AITO's first model landed on Huawei's new product launch. The AITO M5 launched this time is different from the previously cooperated Xilix Huawei Smart SF5, and is a new model designed by Huawei's industrial design team and software team throughout the process.

The biggest highlight of this car is that the new car is the first model based on the new pure electric drive range extender platform (DE-i) and the first model to be equipped with the HarmonyOS smart cockpit. Its CLTC comprehensive working condition cruising range reaches 1242 km, and the acceleration time of 100 km/h is 4.4 seconds.

Yu Chengdong, managing director of Huawei, CEO of consumer BG, and CEO of smart car solution BU, said at the press conference that the Harmony OS smart cockpit breaks the information gap between different devices, so that the vehicle is no longer an island, but a super terminal that can seamlessly flow with people, mobile phones, smart homes, smart watches, etc.

The new car is full of Huawei elements. In this smart cockpit, there are many technologies such as the intelligent voice interaction system called Xiaoyi, the on-board map Petal Maps, and the all-round digital car key. In addition, the new car also has HUAWEI SOUND's sound system and HUAWEI SuperCharge charging technology.

It is reported that this car will be produced at the Xilix Chongqing Liangjiang Smart Factory and will be displayed in 180 Huawei stores in 42 cities. From January 20 next year, new cars will be opened for test drives and reservations.

Yu Chengdong said that Huawei focuses on the all-scenario smart life strategy, empowers the automotive industry with more than 30 years of ICT technology and leading smart travel experience, brings the digital world to every car, and helps car companies build and sell good cars. As the latest witness to Huawei's continuous innovation and professional strength, this car will usher in a new era of smart travel. ”

"Made in Chongqing" cars are being labeled "high-end"

Not only AITO, in mid-November, Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL also jointly launched the high-end intelligent electric vehicle brand Avita. Avita Technology's first high-end intelligent electric medium-sized SUV, Avita 11 has a cruising range of at least 700 km/ h and an acceleration of less than 4 seconds from 0-100 km/h.

At present, Avita Technology has diversified its layout in Chongqing, Shanghai and Munich, Germany. Among them, Chongqing is the global vehicle planning, R & D and manufacturing center, Shanghai is the global brand and software R & D center, and Munich is the global design center. In terms of production and sales channel laying, Avita's self-built intelligent flexible production line is located in Chongqing, which can achieve an annual production capacity of up to 350,000 vehicles to meet the sales channel planning of 100 cities in the first year.

According to industry analysts, both models have the strength to "call the board" with the world's top high-end electric brands.

The relevant person in charge of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology said that Chang'an, Xiaokang, Great Wall, Lincoln and other car companies have recently set up high-end brands or introduced high-end product sequences in Chongqing, and with the launch of a series of new products, these companies have made great progress in quality, technology, price and brand value.

At present, the proportion of vehicle products priced at more than 100,000 yuan in Chongqing has increased from 30% in 2017 to more than 40%. The intensive launch of models such as the Lincoln Adventurer and Changan Ford EVOS is considered to be a landmark event that Chongqing has gradually become a leading region in China's auto industry, especially the high-end development of its own brands.

In the domestic new energy vehicle market, the current competition is mainly concentrated between independent brands and head new car manufacturers. With the upgrading of market consumption, the competition in the middle and high-end market is becoming more and more intense. In the view of Cui Dongshu, secretary general of the Association, there is considerable potential for the development of independent new energy brands in the future.

According to relevant sources of the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Chongqing will support leading enterprises to concentrate high-quality resources through high-end brand building, and support Changan Automobile and Xiaokang to strengthen cooperation with IT and Internet companies such as Huawei and Ali, and will also guide Beijing Hyundai, SAIC-GM-Wuling, Great Wall and other Chongqing factories to put into production of high-end products in the future, and jointly sound the "charge" of Chongqing's high-quality development of automobiles.
