In the ninth year of guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1883), Ma Yifu was born in Chengdu, Sichuan, his father was ZhiXian county, Renshou County, and his mother was a talented daughter from a large family, Ma Yifu was deeply influenced by his mother, and began to read and receive traditional education at a very young age. He was very talented, intelligent and precocious, and at the age of 10, he blurted out the chant of "morning food and autumn are cleaner, there is no need to envy flax".
Later, Ma Yifu returned to his native Zhejiang with his mother. At that time, the Qing Dynasty was still barely maintaining, so Ma Yifu took the traditional Keju County Examination and won the first place, and he was only 15 years old this year. The article he wrote caught the attention of a person who later became Ma Yifu's father-in-law, Tang Shouqian, the first governor and chief of transportation in Zhejiang during the Republic of China.
In 1889, Tang Shouqian saw Ma Yifu's article and admired this unparalleled young man and wanted to recruit him as his son-in-law. He spent a lot of money to ask someone to match, ready to marry his delicate and elegant beloved daughter Tang Xiaoxuan to Ma Yifu. The two families are equal, one is a talent, the other is a lady, and soon they are married.
Although it is an arranged marriage in the old society, Tang Xiaoxuan's eyebrows are moving, Qingxiu is sensible, Ma Yifu married her, and there is always a faint joy in her heart, and the two get along harmoniously. Whenever Ma Yifu went out to meet friends, afraid of his wife's loneliness, he let his sister accompany Tang Xiaoxuan, so as not to be at home, Tang Xiaoxuan felt bored.
The ma family sister is also literate, when she accompanied Tang Xiaoyi, she once suggested that the two of them chant poetry and write, Tang Xiaoxuan's face blushed, she whispered: "Sister, I am illiterate." Ma Yifu returned to learn all this, and saw that Tang Xiaoxiao was a little ashamed on his face, but instead of abandoning it, he comforted her and said: From now on, I will teach you to read.
However, at this time, Ma Yifu's academic reputation had already drifted out of Zhejiang, and he went out to study many times, and the newlyweds and young couples gathered less and left more. The two were married for 3 years, and his wife Tang Xiaoshu died of illness, and Ma Yifu was grief-stricken and vowed not to marry again. He wrote a poem "Mourning Wife Tang Xiaoxuan's Speech": "Qing is dead, Ma Fu's ambition, learning, temperament, and consciousness, who else can peek into it!" ”
By the 1820s, Ma Yifu had become a master of academia and still maintained contact with the Tang family. There are many women in the society who admire Mr. Ma's fame, and even his father-in-law Tang Shouqian was also touched by his persistence, leaving a last word saying: The deceased daughter is blessed and shallow, and I hope that Mr. Ma can continue the joy of thrush and marry another daughter of mine.
But Ma Yifu could never forget his wife Tang Xiaoxuan, and he directly published his reply letter rejecting the suggestions of his friends in the newspaper, which stopped the minds of many family women. After that, Ma Yifu, indeed, always maintained a single state, childless and childless, lived until 1967, because of a serious illness in Hangzhou died, went to another world to find his beloved wife.
