What level of strategists did Cao Cao have under him?

There are indeed many Cao forces strategists, but not all of them serve Cao Gong! At that time, the emperor was in Cao, and naturally there were many people who had no historical concepts who wanted to restore the Eastern Han Dynasty. It can also be said that some of them were "spies" who wanted to murder Cao Cao. I think this is the reason why Cao Cao did not take long in each expedition and did not bring many advisers, because the instability of the inner dynasty was very fatal, and it was several of his backbones and Cao Pi who played a role in stabilizing the inner dynasty at that time.

Soon after Lü Bu was defeated, Xun Yu persuaded Cao Cao to meet Emperor Xian of Han, so he was promoted to Shizhong (侍中) and Shang Shuling (尚書令).

After Cao Cao welcomed the emperor to build the capital Xuchang, he heard that Xun You was a very intelligent man, so he enlisted him as the Taishou of Runan, and later worshiped him as a military master. Xun You felt that Cao Cao was a person he could work with, and he was willing to use it for him. Cao Cao got him, and often happily praised Xun You, saying, "Gongda, not an ordinary person! I can discuss with him, what is there to worry about in the world?" This shows Cao Cao's praise and trust in him.

Cheng Yu (程昱); a famous vassal of the State of Wei during the Three Kingdoms period. His real name was Cheng Li, and he changed his name to Cheng Yu because he was holding the sun in Mount Taishan in his dream. He once led the people to fight against the Yellow Turban in Dong'a. Later from Cao Cao to Yanzhou, He was given the title of Zhang Ling. When Cao Cao invaded Xuzhou, Cheng Yu and Xun Yu stayed in the rear to block Lü Bu and Chen Gong's army, and held the three cities, and for their merits, they were awarded the title of Dongping Xiang and Tun Yu in Fan County. Yu Chang advised Cao Cao, and after Emperor Xian of Han made xuchang the capital, he made Cheng Yu the general of Shangshu, and later the general of Dongzhong Lang, leading Jiyin Taishou and overseeing the affairs of Yanzhou. Later Emperor Wen made Cheng Yu a lieutenant and was enfeoffed as the Marquis of An. When Liu Ye was thirteen years old, he killed his father's favored attendant according to his mother's will, and then frankly asked his father for guilt. Liu Pu was originally furious, but after knowing Liu Ye's motives, he also admired him very much and did not be harsh.
