However, who knew that although Xun Yu was a subordinate of Cao Cao, he was "in Cao Ying's heart in Han" and was one of the few pro-imperial factions in the Later Han Dynasty. Some people actually proposed that Cao Cao be made the "Duke of Wei", and Dong Zhao also privately wanted to consult with Xun Yu, but was reprimanded by Xun Yu: "Taizu Benxing's righteous soldiers are in the kuang dynasty, loyal and honest, and the truth of retreat; it is not appropriate for a gentleman to love people with virtue." This means that Cao Cao should have the virtue of modesty and loyalty, and should not ask for such a reward.
Who knew that this was met with cao Cao's jealousy, and he wrote to request that Xun Yu be sent to Tan County to comfort the army, and took the opportunity to leave Xun Yu behind, let him serve as a waiter, Guanglu Doctor, hold a spell festival, and participate in the decision of the military of Xiang Xiang. Cao Cao's army marched to Shusu, and Xun Yu remained in Shouchun, Yangzhou due to illness, and later died of depression at the age of fifty.
It can be said that Xun Yu dedicated most of his life to Cao Cao, but died in his loyalty to the Han Dynasty. Of course, Xun Yu was in a high position, but he sang the opposite tune with Cao Cao, and was naturally Cao Cao's great enemy. In the eyes of later generations, if you openly operate against Cao, you naturally can't enter the Taimiao Temple again, and you still have to quarrel with Cao Cao.
Jia Xu
Jia Xu was a very shrewd person, not only good at planning, but also knew how to protect himself, and could even be said to be the smartest person in the Three Kingdoms. After Jia Xu persuaded Zhang Xiu to submit to Cao Cao, he made many contributions to Cao Cao, such as persuading Zhang Xiu to surrender, Guandu made a decision for Cao Cao, and then offered Cao Cao a divisive plan to defeat Ma Chao Han Sui and others. Even when Cao Pi and Cao Zhi were vying for the throne, Cao Cao had to ask Jia Xu for advice.
Since Cao Cao and Jia Xu had such a tacit understanding, why didn't Jia Xu enter the Taimiao Temple? The main problem is Jia Xu's "poisoner". After Dong Zhuo's death, when Li Dai Guo And others were preparing to do birds and beasts, Jia Xu asked Li Dai and others to gather troops to kill Chang'an, and Emperor Xian of Han had just been freed and entered the wolf's den. How could such a calamity be made into the Temple of Taimiao?
Since following Cao Cao, Jia Xu has been doing things very low-key, and he also thinks that he is not a cao wei old minister, and he is in a high position, which will definitely attract people's hatred. Therefore, "keep the door closed, retire selflessly, marry men and women, and do not marry high doors." And the right to speak is in the hands of the current dynasty, Jia Xu did not make friends with the magnates, and naturally no one spoke for him.
Xun You
Xun You was Xun Yu's nephew and Cao Cao's "mastermind", and in the early days he often followed Cao Cao and advised him. For example, at the Battle of Xia Pi, when Cao Cao was preparing to withdraw his troops, Xun You suggested that Cao Cao take advantage of the victory to attack and not give Lü Bu a chance to breathe. At the Battle of Guandu, Xun Youxian attacked the east and the west, killing Yan Liang and Wen Ugly. He also planned the qi soldiers, sent Xu Huang to burn Yuan Shao's grain and grass, and at the same time urged Cao Cao to accept Xu You, paint the Wu nest, and make a great contribution. Even when Cao Cao pacified the north, it was under the strong advice of Xun You that Cao Cao completely eliminated Yuan Shao's forces.
Why didn't such a credit enter the Taimiao Temple at the first time? What's more, in the main history, Xun You did not openly oppose Cao Cao's promotion, but because he was related to Xun Yu as a member of the same ethnic group, it was also possible to be implicated. However, in 244 AD, he entered the Taimiao Temple to accompany the worship, which is also a recognition of this old minister.
Guo Jia
Recently, it has been rumored on the Internet that Guo Jia was Cao Cao's first strategist, and there is even a saying that "Guo Jia does not die, and the dragon does not come out". As Cao Cao's main strategist, Guo Jia can be said to have indeed obeyed his words, and even praised Guo Jia for "making a lonely person a great cause, and this person must also be." ”
Guo Jia's strategy was outstanding, almost all of them were enemies first, and Yuan Shao, Lü Bu, Sun Ce and even Liu Bei were seen through. Before each action of Cao Cao, Guo Jia accurately analyzed the situation at that time and the movements of the princes. Why didn't such an important strategist get a timely opportunity to accompany him?
Mainly the problem of Guo Jia's character, the zhengshi once wrote: "Chen Qunfei Jia did not rule the inspection, several courts sued Jia, Jia Yi was self-assured." Inspector Chen Qun often impeached Guo Jia for misconduct in court, but Guo Jia did not care, perhaps because of Cao Cao's favor and no scruples. Although Chen Qun did not show his fists in the era of Cao Cao, in the era of Cao Pi, he was a hot figure. Therefore, although Guo Jia died early, after Cao Cao's death, the comments of posterity on Guo Jia must not be good.
However, Guo Jia's son Guo Yi befriended Sima Zhao's confidant Wang Chang and was recommended by Wang Chang, and naturally Guo Jia finally entered the shrine in 262 because he had a good son.
Cheng Yu
Cheng Yu was also Cao Cao's early strategist, when Cao Cao conquered Xuzhou, Cheng Yu and Xun Yu stayed in the rear, and when Lü Buchen Palace and others rebelled, Cheng Yu designed everything to protect the three cities, and Cao Cao would not have become a dog that lost his family if it were not for Cheng Yu.
During the great battle between Cao Cao and Lü Bu in Puyang, he repeatedly won the plan, and then caused a plague of locusts, almost running out of grain. Yuan Shao took the opportunity to invite Cao Cao to go north and move to Yicheng, in Yuan Shao's hinterland, to submit to himself. When Cao Cao intended to agree to Yuan Shao, Cheng Yu immediately made a decision, analyzed the situation for Cao Cao, commented on Yuan Shao, and made valuable suggestions, which prevented Cao Cao from going north to submit to Yuan Shao, and also provided conditions for Cao Cao's great achievements in the future. Imagine if Cao Cao had submitted to Yuan Shao, would he have been able to do something? Therefore, after Establishing Hegemony, Cao Cao took Cheng Yu's hand and said, "The defeat of Yanzhou, without the words of the King, why did I come to this point?" ”
It can be seen that Cheng Yu's credit is not insignificant, but some people say that Cheng Yu has a tough and violent temperament and has repeatedly disobeyed others. Some people even went to cheng yu to plot rebellion, but Cao Cao still treated Cheng Yu as usual, without the slightest suspicion. After Cao Pi was proclaimed emperor, Cheng Yu was given the title of Wei Wei (衛尉) and Jin was made a township marquis. He even finally wanted Cheng Yu to become a duke, but unfortunately Cheng Yu died of illness soon after. When Cao Pi heard of Cheng Yu's death, he wept bitterly and posthumously honored him as a cheqi general with the posthumous title of Marquis Su.

Coupled with the quality of Cheng Yugong's retirement, "returning to the soldiers from the table, the door cannot be closed."
