He was Yang Jingyu's deputy commander or Kim Il Sung's superior, but was betrayed by traitors

When it comes to our party's famous anti-Japanese generals in the northeast, everyone will blurt out: Yang Jingyu and Zhao Shangzhi.

In fact, our party still has many famous anti-Japanese generals in the northeast, such as Wei Zhengmin, who I want to talk about today.

He was Yang Jingyu's deputy commander or Kim Il Sung's superior, but was betrayed by traitors

Wei Zhengmin was born in 1909 in Changzhi, Shanxi, his real name is Guan Youwei, and "Wei Zhengmin" is just one of his 10 pseudonyms.

After the September 18 Incident, the 22-year-old Wei Zhengmin became the secretary of the harbin municipal party committee in northeast China, working behind enemy lines in the hinterland of the Japanese army. After he arrived in office, the most difficult thing he encountered was the "People's Livelihood Group Incident".

At that time, there were many Koreans living in the northeast, and in order to destroy the anti-Japanese armed forces, the Japanese army set up a "people's livelihood group" composed of Koreans to break into the anti-Japanese ranks and divide them. Some ultra-left comrades hate Koreans, including internal comrades who interact with Koreans, and many have been killed, causing a very bad impact.

Wei Zhengmin immediately stopped this crazy behavior, saying, "Isn't there no traitor Chinese?" Even for North Koreans, that's a very small minority, and most of them are good. He also burned the black materials of the Minsheng Regiment in public, saying: Whoever engages in this set in the future will be by Lao Tzu! ”

He was Yang Jingyu's deputy commander or Kim Il Sung's superior, but was betrayed by traitors

In January 1936, Wei Zhengmin, who had just returned from Attending the Seventh Congress of the Communist International in Moscow, the Soviet Union, met Kim Il Sung and others in the slate and stone field in the old forest in the mountains and old forests of Ning'an County. Wei Zhengmin brought good news to Kim Il Sung: Our Party has decided to reorganize all the anti-Japanese armed forces into the Northeast Anti-Japanese Democratic United Army, and at the same time, the Northeast Koreans can separately establish anti-Japanese armed forces of the Koreans while retaining the anti-Japanese alliance organization.

Wei Zhengmin reorganized the Korean guerrillas led by Kim Il Sung into an independent division of the Anti-Japanese Coalition Second Army, and at the same time made Kim Il Sung the commander-in-chief of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army. This Korean People's Revolutionary Army, which resisted japan in northeast China, was the Korean People's Army that became famous later.

In this sense, it can also be said that Wei Zhengmin "created" the Korean People's Army.

In the 1980s, Kim Il Sung also sent people to find Wei Zhengmin's son to express the Korean people's gratitude to Wei Zhengmin.

At that time, Wei Zhengmin was the political commissar of the 2nd Army of the Northeast Anti-Japanese League, Yang Jingyu was the commander of the 1st Army, and Zhao Shangzhi was the commander of the 3rd Army. Later, the 1st Army and the 2nd Army were combined into the First Route Army, with Yang Jingyu as the commander-in-chief and Wei Zhengmin as the deputy commander-in-chief and director of the Political Department.

Wei Zhengmin not only did political work, but also was a good hand at fighting. At the end of December 1937, after Wei Zhengmin led his troops through Maojiang County, it was snowing heavily, and when he was passing through a forest, he suddenly heard the movement of cutting wood in the forest. Wei Zhengmin quietly looked over and saw that a large number of Japanese puppet troops were hiding in the forest to cut down wood and roast the fire.

The devils took out a large pile of tin canned meat and ate them fragrantly, and some devils were so tired that they fell asleep by the campfire. Wei Zhengmin was angry at the sight of how many Chinese people had been mutilated by these bastards, and they were still enjoying them here! Wei Zhengmin selected 80 strong warriors, all carrying machine guns, to a small highland nearby, aimed at the devils, and fired a strafing shot...

Wei Zhengmin was a high official, but he did not have any official frame. He was not in good health, but when he saw a soldier's leg hurt during the march, he gritted his teeth and carried the soldier for 15 kilometers, sent him to the field hospital, and moved the little soldier to cry for several days, saying that following Secretary Wei, even if he died, it was worth it!

Because the Japanese army closed the mountain, the team had no food to eat, it was common to nibble on tree bark, and occasionally captured a little canned and pickles, as well as 3 pounds of apples, everyone said that secretary Wei would eat it no matter what. Of course, Wei Zhengmin wouldn't eat it, saying that you know that Commander Yang Jingyu is thinner than us! Wei Zhengmin ordered: Give 3 kilograms of apples to Commander Yang, two boxes of canned food, just two seriously injured, one person divided into one box.

Some people say that Secretary Wei is more hard and should eat a box. Wei Zhengmin was on fire, saying that I was not injured, what to eat! Whoever is injured eats, this will be the rule in the future!

He was Yang Jingyu's deputy commander or Kim Il Sung's superior, but was betrayed by traitors

A few months later, on February 23, 1940, General Yang Jingyu was betrayed by traitors and martyred. When the bad news came, Wei Zhengmin burst into tears and gathered the soldiers to say, Commander Yang's vendetta, if we don't repay it, it will not be Chinese!

The First Route Army was leaderless, and Wei Zheng took responsibility and continued to fight devils everywhere. The Japanese devils originally thought that Yang Jingyu would be able to rest easy without him, who knew that Wei Zhengmin had beaten even harder than Yang Jingyu!

But what is sad is that traitors and traitors are everywhere, and a year after Yang Jingyu's sacrifice, Wei Zhengmin was also betrayed by traitors and martyred at the age of 32.

What is even more distressing is that a traitor actually informed the Japanese army of the burial place of Wei Zhengmin's body for a little "dog food". The Japanese army went so far as to dig up the body of General Wei, cut off his head, and hang it at the huadian city gate for public display, and the body was also burned by a fire by the devil.

It was not until 20 years later, in October 1961, that the local government sent an investigation team to finally find the remains of General Wei and solemnly buried it.

General Wei has a spirit in heaven and should also be rested in peace.
