Wuhan, December 21 (Zhang Qin, Zhang Wenjing) At the 2021 Hantai Intelligent Automobile and Semiconductor Industry Cooperation and Exchange Conference held on the afternoon of the 21st, Chebai Intelligent Network Research Institute (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. and the Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Development Association concluded a strategic cooperation alliance, and 5 Hantai intelligent automobile and semiconductor industry product procurement and technical cooperation projects were signed on site.

The exchange meeting was hosted by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee and the Management Committee of the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone), aiming to promote the in-depth docking and coordinated development of Wuhan and Taiwan in the fields of technology, products, talents and the allocation and utilization of various advantageous resources in the intelligent vehicle and semiconductor industries.

As one of the most concentrated automobile manufacturing industrial clusters in the country, the Wuhan Economic Development Zone, known as the "China Car Valley", has gathered 8 major car companies and more than 500 auto parts companies such as Dongfeng Honda, Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle, Dongfeng Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle, DPCA, Lantu and Nissan. In recent years, economic and trade exchanges and industrial cooperation between Wuhan Economic development zone and Taiwan have been deepening, and a total of 28 Taiwan-funded enterprises have settled in the economic development zone, covering automotive electronics, auto parts and other fields.

"We have strong automotive manufacturing advantages and rich application scenarios, while Taiwan's automotive industry has the advantages of cutting-edge technology and research and development capabilities." Tang Chao, deputy secretary of the Wuhan Economic Development Zone Working Committee and mayor of Hannan District, introduced that the joint efforts of the two sides will further promote the integration and innovation of the automotive electronics industry.

Xu Guansheng, chairman of the Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Development Association, introduced that Wuhan has a complete automotive industry chain, while the next generation of vehicles such as new energy and intelligent network connection is developing rapidly, and in the future, the two sides will promote extensive cooperation in technology, talents and other fields through alliances, and promote the successful transformation of technology.

Suzhou Dongyu Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. (Wuhan Branch), a Taiwan-funded enterprise that reached the project signing on the same day, has been settled in Wuhan Economic Development Zone for 11 years. Wu Shunxiong, the head of the company, told reporters that the initial choice of Wuhan is to look at the advantages of the local automobile industry and the broad market, and the annual increase in turnover confirms the correct choice, and hopes to reach cooperation with more car companies in Wuhan in the future.
