Some babies have confused pronunciation: when the syllable of ba is pronounced, it will be pronounced as "ma"; when the syllable of ma is pronounced, it will be pronounced as "ba"; when the syllable of pa is pronounced, it will also be pronounced as "ba". "ba" will not be "ma"; "pa" will be sent, no "ba".
Through these phenomena, it shows that the baby's lip movement ability is weak, the strength is insufficient, and the baby's lip movement is not very flexible.
First, increase the strength of the lips
(1) Flat foods, such as potato chips, hawthorn flakes, nori and other items, can be used to make the child grow his mouth, and ask to hold the food with his lips and keep it for about 1 minute. Parents should choose food according to their baby's preferences, the difficulty should be from easy to difficult, and the food should be trained from thin to thick.
(2) You can use the tongue depressor, requiring the baby to hold the tongue depressor in both lips for 5-10s, when the baby can reach 25s per group, 3 groups per day, you can increase the difficulty of 15 seconds per group, 10 groups per day. If you meet the standard, you can add "coins" to both ends of the tongue depressor to increase the weight of the tongue depressor, thereby increasing the strength of the lips
Second, improve lip flexibility
When the baby's lips have a certain amount of strength, you can perform oral and tongue exercises related to the lips. For example, pouting, grinning, lip pursing, smashing mouth, round lips, blowing, etc
Third, clearly know the development rules of children's pronunciation
When practicing pronunciation for your baby, it is very important that we clearly understand the pronunciation rules of the child and whether the syllable is within the baby's current developmental age. If the baby is currently around 3 years old, then the syllables of p can be practiced temporarily without being the main target.
Fourth, analyze the pronunciation position according to the syllables
b, m, and p belong to the "lip tone", which requires the lips to close and produce syllables, but there is a difference between the three. M belongs to the nasal sound; b does not require nasal sounds, needs a short burst type, does not need to be breathed, and the lips are closed to make syllables; p is a burst air delivery sound.
Fifth, find the pronunciation elements of each syllable
The M tone belongs to the nasal sound, and the lips need to be closed during training, and the baby can touch the nose of others with one hand and feel the vibration, and the other hand touch his nose while inducing an "m" sound.
B-tone does not require a nasal sound, if the baby can already make an "m" sound, due to the unclear pronunciation position, the baby will often pronounce "b" as "m". You can pinch your baby's nose to make a "b".
P tone needs a strong burst air transmission sound, we can first use some game methods to let the baby feel the presence of air flow, learn to send air, and then add sound to sound.

When the baby's overall lip ability improves, we must continue to try to induce the baby to pronounce. For the baby, it is difficult to accurately find the location of the pronunciation, so when practicing pronunciation in the early stage, it is easy to make the baby frustrated, when the baby is in the process of frustration for a long time, the baby's pronunciation motivation will be reduced, and it is likely that there will be a situation of not wanting to speak.
Our purpose is to let the baby emit more syllables, so in the early stage we should use the shaping method as much as possible to help the baby emit clearer syllables, as long as the baby emits similar syllables, it is necessary to immediately strengthen the baby's efforts to pronounce the behavior, so as to achieve the behavior of enhancing the baby's pronunciation again, prompting the baby to send out clearer syllables.
Inducing pronunciation is a boring process that requires long-term persistence. Your baby may face a lot of difficulties in training and will be repelled from practicing. As a teacher, we must give the baby enough understanding and support, and at the same time find ways to use some interesting methods to help the baby, so that the baby can be more motivated to move forward!
