Yunnan's first red-themed large-scale acrobatic stage play "Nie Er" is produced and created by Yunnan Acrobatic Troupe Co., Ltd., which takes the life of the people's musician Nie Er as the story model, and uses the emerging stage art form of acrobatic stage drama to interpret Nie Er's short and brilliant life. The repertoire is designed as a sequence and an ending, and the central part is presented in five acts: "Blood Morning and Dusk", "Nursery Rhyme Li Chun", "Wind and Clouds", "Sparks and Clouds", and "Accumulated Streamers".
In terms of plot structure and acrobatic design, "Nie Er" has made innovative breakthroughs, enriching the expression of the repertoire by taking symbolic acrobatic skills as the "point", the repertoire story as the "line", the fusion of multi-artistic elements as the "surface", and the "point" stringing the "line" and broadening the "surface" presented by the play. In terms of acrobatic technology, he innovated high-difficulty technical skills such as "inverted small top violin", and innovated new props such as "stave", "large guzheng" and "moving scooter shaking palanquin" on the prop installation, so that the span of time and space is full of epic emotions, and the two seemingly unrelated elements of music and stage scenery are integrated and blended with each other, so that the visual and auditory senses are highly unified.
After more than 30 years, the large-scale national dance drama "Ashima", created and performed by Yunnan Performing Arts Co., Ltd., has been carefully polished and choreographed to meet the public again. In this rehearsal, the core teams of the original creative team Zhao Huihe, Zhou Peiwu, Tao Chun, Min Guangsen, And Wanli were organized to shoulder the heavy responsibility of creation again. The dance drama follows the original plate structure without scenes, and depicts the inner world of different characters such as Ashima, Ahei, Azhi and other different characters with black, green, gray, red, gold, white, blue and other dance segments.
At the same time, the biggest highlight of this rehearsal is the extensive use of group dance scenery and emotions, and the rich changes of group dance formations, style costumes and action vocabulary to create a variety of wonderful natural scenes. Moreover, with the rich Yi folk songs as the main melody, many distinctive ethnic instruments are integrated, highlighting the rich Yunnan folk style.
The musical drama "The Wa People Sing New Songs Again" is based on the true story of poverty alleviation in Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, which directly crossed the national Ximeng County, as the basis for creation, telling the story of poverty alleviation cadres at all levels who went forward to succeed each other, took root in the frontier, and under the continuous advancement of overcoming many difficulties, helped the poor masses get rid of poverty with their industrious hands, changed their destiny, moved from closed primitive to open development, and moved from poverty and backwardness to a happy life.
The main creative team of the play is composed of Yang Yaohong, a national first-class screenwriter, Gao Ruijia, a famous musical theater director, Mark, a young pianist, Jang Eun-sook, a famous Korean musical choreographer, and Liu Qiwei, a stage designer of musical theater at Pace University in New York, with the famous actor Tashi Dunzhu as the main actor. At the same time, the play also breaks the conventional artistic expression methods, through the clever integration of the wa traditional music minor, rap, dialect, popular music innovative forms, to create a collection of song, dance, music and other stage forms, artistically reflecting the complexity and arduousness of the process of poverty alleviation, bringing a visual "feast" for the audience.
