In 1939, 16-year-old Higa Kazuko came to Saipan with his brother and met her future husband, but in 1944, the two went to Anatahan Island together for work reasons. In 1945, Japan announced its surrender, but at that time the people on the island thought that Japan would not lose, and did not want to believe it, believing that it was a rumor spread by the enemy. So Higa Kazuko and thirty-two men decided to continue living on the island, and this life was seven years, during which a lot of things happened, reflecting the dark side of human nature.
After the surrender of Japan, no one came to the island to replenish supplies, and all around was the sea, they could only be self-sufficient, because there was only one woman, at first everyone could hold back, but then the time became longer and longer, so some men could not help it, and Higa Kazuko was often harassed by these men. Later, several men proposed that Higa and Kazuko marry one of them, so that the rest of the island would have no other ideas for a while
But the good times did not last long, and after a while, some other men began to stir up trouble, trying to break this rule. Two men found two guns in a Japanese arsenal, so they seized Higa Kazuko and began a three-man world, after which two men with guns clashed, one of whom killed the other, and the remaining man also fell ill and died shortly afterwards. So Higa and Kazuko gave the gun to someone else who deserved her trust
But it didn't occur to him that the men on the island began to go crazy again for Higa kazuko. It wasn't until the 13th man died that these people began to realize that their behavior was too crazy to end, and the way they ended was to kill Higa Kazuko, but on the night they were going to kill Higa Kazuko, a man released Higa Kazuko
So Higa and Kazuko fled into the jungle and lived in the jungle for 33 days, after which she saw an American ship on the seashore and was rescued. After returning to Japan, Kazuko Higa made public all her experiences on the island, but she was insulted by countless people. This made her life very difficult, until she married again at the age of 34, and died of a brain tumor at the age of 49, ending this life.
