Yin Xian was very good at talking, and accepted more than a hundred letters, all packed and taken on the road. When he reached the halfway point, Yin Xian did not know whether it was a whim, a seizure of curiosity, or a long-planned plan, he opened all those letters, checked them one by one, and found that most of the contents were to let relatives have relations with Yin Xian and run for official positions.
Yin Xian looked at it and was greatly disgusted, and threw those letters into the water, and came a "Heavenly Lady Scattering Flowers". He threw the letter, folded his hands together, and read the words: "You letters, you should sink, you should float, love you, those who run for office want to make Li Yin envious of them as a postman, there is no way!" On the surface, this statement means to let the letter float and sink, but it also means that the mediocre people are naturally eliminated and the capable people can stand out on their own. This incident left two famous idioms for posterity, "Put into Hong Qiao (Yin Envy Character Hong Qiao)" and "Hong Qiao's Mistake", which are used to describe the loss of posted letters, and also have the meaning of a non-human.

When he was the minister of Changsha, he unscrupulously plundered the people's fat and people's cream, embezzled and accepted bribes, and became infamous. The superior was jealous of Yin Hao, and did not dare to take what Yin Xian did, but Yin Xian rose step by step, and finally the official guanglu xun, one of the nine secretaries.
