On May 6th, the 5th Idiom Poetry Contest was held at Beishenjiaqiao Primary School in Yanta District, Xi'an City, aiming to promote traditional Chinese culture, feel the charm of classic poetry, and set off a strong atmosphere of patriotic learning and classics in the campus.
With the theme of "Breeze Accompanied by The Wind, Poetic Life", this competition has set up five links such as the Poetry Competition and the Flying Flower Order. On the field, the players were all scrappy and calm. In the poetry competition, the children answered fluently, thought quickly, and showed a solid foundation in language. In the flying flower order link, the contestants were full of spirit, beautiful poems blurted out, and the rich poetry reserves won the applause of the audience. After the competition, performances of wonderful programs such as "Descendants of the Dragon" and "State of Etiquette" were also performed, and awards were given to the winning teachers and students.
The competition is not only a test of the accumulation of idioms and ancient poems of the students, but also the inheritance of Chinese classic culture, which improves the students' comprehensive literacy in the accumulation of poetry and enhances the students' national pride and self-confidence.
