Xbox's Death Trihong official poster sells for $160

Microsoft is now selling its own Xbo Death Trifecta poster to commemorate the release of the "Power On: The Story of Xbox" documentary series. The six-part documentary comprehensively reviews the highs and lows of Xbox over the past 20 years, including the infamous Death Trifecta.

The Xbox 360's Death Trifecta means that three of the four LED lights on the Xbox 360 turn red, a problem that affects many of the original consoles because of the surprisingly high failure rate. It indicates a hardware failure, which means Xbox 360 users have had to send their consoles for repairs.

In the fifth chapter of Boot, former Xbox director Peter Moore reviews the bug that cost Microsoft more than $1 billion to fix. "When we think about repair costs and the loss of sales that we take into account, we have a $1.15 billion problem.

Power On chronicles 20 years of Xbox's history.

The Poster of Death Three sells for $24.99, which won't do much to make up for the $1 billion loss, but I'm sure those who work on the Xbox 360 would never have imagined that Microsoft would sell a poster about failure more than 15 years later.

Power On also chronicled the origins of the first Xbox released 20 years ago, interviewing those who helped give birth to it. Even former Xbox CEO Don Mattrick appeared in the feature film, discussing the launch of the Xbox One and the focus on TV, Kinect and always-on digital ways.

If you're interested in xbox history or video games in general, Boot is certainly worth a look. While it was created by Microsoft, the company doesn't shy away from acknowledging its failures, Sony's strong competition, and its impressive achievements in creating new consoles.

It is estimated that in some days Microsoft China will officially release Chinese version.
