1. Study Committee Member Wang Yaowu. Wang Yaowu is a native of Tai'an, Shandong Province, and graduated from the third phase of the Whampoa Military Academy. In September 1948, Wang Yaowu, who was then the commander of the Second Appeasement District and the chairman of Shandong Province, was defeated and captured in battle. When the War Criminals Study Committee was established, Wang Yaowu was elected as a member of the Study Committee, which may be related to wang Yaowu's study of the Four Books and Five Classics since childhood, and his previous position as chairman of Shandong Province (civilian). Because of Wang Yaowu's active performance during the reform, he was granted amnesty in 1959. Later, Wang Yaowu died of illness in 1968 at the age of 64.
2. Song Xilian, a member of the Cultural and Entertainment Committee. Song Xilian is a native of Xiangxiang, Hunan Province, and graduated from the first phase of the Whampoa Military Academy. In December 1949, Song Xilian, who was then the director of the Appeasement Office of the Sichuan-Xiang'e Border Region, was defeated and captured when the War Criminals Study Committee was established, Song Xilian was elected as a member of the Cultural and Recreation Committee, which may have a lot to do with Song Xilian's relatively young age at that time (born in 1907). Because Song Xilian performed well during the reform period and his thinking changed greatly, Yu Ye and the first batch were granted amnesty in 1959. Later, Song Xilian moved to the United States and died of illness in 1993 at the age of 86.
Third, the health commissioner has expanded his feelings. Zeng Kuanqing is a native of Weiyuan, Sichuan, and graduated from the first phase of the Whampoa Military Academy. In December 1949, Zeng Guoqing, who was then the director of the political department of the Sichuan Military Commission, was defeated and captured when the War Criminals Study Committee was established, Zeng Guangqing was elected as a health commissioner, perhaps because Zeng Kuanqing had been engaged in secret service work and had a certain prestige internally (even the head of the secret service, Dai Kasa, called Zeng Guangqing "brother expansion"). At that time, Zeng Guangqing actively accepted the reform and performed very well, so in 1959 the first batch received amnesty. Later, Zeng Kuan died of illness in 1988 at the age of 93.
