Luoyang, Henan Province, is a famous ancient city, in history, it has been used by several dynasties as the capital or capital, and the importance of its geographical location is obvious to all. Luoyang City was founded in the first year of the Sui Dynasty, that is, in 605 AD, and was later used as a capital or companion capital in the Tang Dynasty, the Five Dynasties, and the Northern Song Dynasty, respectively, and lasted for about 530 years. It is worth mentioning that there are still sui and Tang Luoyang city ruins in Luoyang City, which is one of the large-scale ancient city ruins preserved intact in China during the Sui and Tang dynasties, which was used as a capital city during the Sui Dynasty, and was listed as the "three major cities" of the Sui and Tang Dynasties alongside the Sui Daxing City and the Tang Chang'an City, which was the political, economic and cultural center of the country, and one of the eastern starting points of the Silk Road.

Judging from the scale of the current excavations, the ruins of Luoyang City in the Sui and Tang Dynasties cover an area of 47 square kilometers, and its whole is mainly composed of Waiguo City, Imperial City, Miyagi Castle, and small cities such as Dongcheng, Hanjiacang City, Yuanbi City and Yaoyi City, and there is also Xiyuan in the western part of the city. According to archaeologists, the reason why Luoyang can have many cultural relics is that after Wu Zetian established the Wuzhou Dynasty, he once lived in the divine capital Luoyang for a long time, and later to the five generations, Liang, Tang, and Jin also built the capital here, until the time of the Song and Jin Dynasties, Luoyang was destroyed by war, and it almost became the longest-used capital city in ancient China. Because of this, in 1988, Sui tang Luoyang City was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit.

According to the official website of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, on December 14 this year, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage held an important progress work meeting on the major project of "Archaeology China" in Beijing, and reported three important archaeological achievements, including the Jiangcun Tomb in Xi'an, Shaanxi, the Zhengpingfang Site in Luoyang, Henan, and the Tuguhun Tomb Group in Wuwei, Gansu. Not only was a tomb of a baling tomb identified as Liu Heng, the emperor of the early Han Dynasty in the Early Western Han Dynasty, corrected the erroneous perception of the archaeological community for thousands of years in the Jiangcun area of Xi'an, Shaanxi, but also found a "Taiping Princess Residence" near the site of Zhengpingfang in Luoyang.

The "Taiping Princess House" is located under the Anguo Female Taoist Temple, its flat shape is rectangular, the length of the north-south direction is 533.6 meters, the width of the east and west is 464.6 meters, and the whole is divided into three parts, namely the western half, the southeast area and the northeast district, separated by the "T-shaped road". The courtyard is symmetrically arranged in the central axis, with three roads in the east and west, and a total of five entrances in the middle road. Archaeologists did not find many artifacts during the excavations, but they did not underestimate the archaeological value of the "Taiping Princess Mansion". It is worth mentioning that near the central axis of the house site to the south to the north, a total of five large rammed earth platforms have been excavated, which are buried deep underground and do not appear until after deep excavation. The emergence of the rammed earth platform once again strongly proved the existence of the "Taiping Princess House", and also became an important driving force for archaeologists to explore the next step.

The reappearance of the rammed earth platform of the "Taiping Princess House" illustrates an important problem, that is, the excavation of this site has reached its final goal, after all, the rammed earth layer is distributed on the lowest level of the building part. Are there also cultural relics in rammed earth terraces? Archaeologists conducted a thorough search of it and found that there were several special tiles and green bricks under the rammed earth platform. It has to be said that the harvest of this excavation work is still not small, because it has initially reflected the architectural scale and layout of the "Taiping Princess Residence", and has also restored the relevant history, which has high archaeological value and significance.

Since the excavation of the "Taiping Princess Residence" Wadang and green bricks, some popular theories have become popular in the archaeological community, believing that Tang Xuanzong Li Longji's suppression methods for Princess Taiping were really harsh, completely disregarding blood and family ties. Princess Taiping was the daughter of Wu Zetian and Emperor Gaozong of Tang, Li Zhi, who had been favored by her parents all her life, so she developed a pampered personality, and she followed the example of her mother Wu Zetian all day long, dreaming of becoming the second "Wu Zetian" one day. On strong desire, Princess Taiping joined forces with Korean and Chinese officials to launch a massive rebellion in an attempt to regain power from the new emperor Li Longji. Unfortunately, Li Longji took the lead in making a strong move, and finally completely defeated the Taiping Princess forces and killed all his henchmen at the same time--his means was really to exterminate them. After that, in order to prevent the resurgence of Princess Taiping's power, Li Longji actually built an Anguo Female Taoist Temple on the site of his fiefdom, so that we can see the wonder of the rammed earth terrace of the mansion under the Taoist temple. For such claims, archaeologists have made it clear that the inference is indeed reasonable, but all inferences should be based on the chain of evidence, so the statement of "extermination" can be retained, but not completely accurate.

Speaking of this, we also have to sigh, "Rolling water in the east of the Yangtze River, the waves have swept away the characters of the ancient winds", Princess Taiping, as a legendary woman in the Tang Dynasty period, can go to her home as a guest of the princely generals, but now, although we are only a commoner, we can stand near the ruins of her mansion and shout "I am coming", I think it is indeed very happy.
