Recently, Kia Motors released the official picture of the new generation of Carens (the previous generation of models in China: Jiale). As the fourth generation of the family, the new Carens is no longer the MPV of the previous generations, but is converted to a compact SUV. The new car is specially built for the Indian market and will be the first to land in India and sell to the global market in 2022.

In terms of styling, the new generation of Carens incorporates new family design elements, the headlights group adopts a more obvious split design, and a large number of horizontal lines make the new car look extremely impactful.
Although the new car has an SUV-style design, the entire body is more stretched and slender. Compared with ordinary SUVs, the new generation of Carens adopts a hidden A-pillar, the tail shape is more square, and the tail light group has a good recognition after being lit at night.
Coming to the interior, the new car adopts a wrap-around interior cockpit layout, and the full LCD instrument with 10.25-inch central control screen further enhances the degree of technology in the car. In terms of configuration, it includes 64-color mood lights, front seat ventilation, in-car air purifier, eight-speaker BOSE audio and other rich configurations.
In terms of body size, the new car has a length of 4540*1800*1700mm and a wheelbase of 2780mm, and adopts three rows of 6-seater and 7-seat seater seat layouts inside. In the power segment, the new generation of Carens offers a rich power mix, including 1.5L and 1.4T gasoline engines and 1.5L diesel engines. The transmission section is mated to a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
