From beginning to end, Tang Xuanzong was very sober. The 6 years that Li Linfu and Niu Xianke have been paired together have been the most politically clear 6 years, there is no party struggle, and Datang operates efficiently. After Niu Xianke's death, according to Tang Xuanzong's rules, Li Linfu should also step down. However, from the fact that Tang Xuanzong himself spent so much money and was poor and militaristic, and his financial expenditure increased by 5 times in the late period compared with the early stage, only Li Linfu could easily cope without increasing the burden on the people.
