Liangjiang Gas Turbine Phase I Project
As the only gas turbine power generation enterprise in Chongqing with deep peak regulation capacity, the first phase of the Liangjiang gas turbine project was completed and put into operation in 2014, with a total investment of 4.2 billion yuan in the second phase of the project, planning to build 3×700 MW H-class gas-steam combined cycle units, with an annual power generation of about 8.4 billion kWh after completion and operation.
The person in charge of Liangjiang Gas Turbine said that under the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, the unique advantages of low carbon, environmental protection, flexible start and stop of gas units, and complementary to renewable energy will assume the role of a bridge for the transition from traditional energy to new energy, and help achieve the "double carbon" goal at an early date.

According to reports, the planned H-class gas turbine pure condensation power generation efficiency can reach more than 64%, nitrogen oxide emissions reach less than 15 mg / cubic meter, it is expected to save 800,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 2 million tons per year compared with the same coal power.
After the completion of the Liangjiang Gas Turbine Expansion Project, the total installed capacity will reach 3 million kilowatts, and the annual power generation capacity can reach more than 10 billion kWh, which can greatly improve the ability of power supply in Chongqing.
At the same time, the project will also effectively provide clean power supply, promote the development of upstream and downstream industries, expand social employment, and promote the integrated clean and low-carbon development of the Sichuan-Chongqing power grid.
It is understood that at present, the Liangjiang gas turbine expansion project has recently obtained the approval documents of the Chongqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and it is expected to start construction in 2022 and strive to be completed and put into operation within 2023.
