In 2017, it was rumored on the Internet that the fairy tale writer Zheng Yuanjie bought 10 apartments in the late 1980s and early 1990s to store letters from young readers. Later, Zheng Yuanjie confirmed in an exclusive interview that the rumors were true!
He revealed that these "school district houses" have never been inhabited, and they still store the letters of that year.
In January 2017, Zheng Yuanjie's father, Zheng Hongsheng, recalled a past on his WeChat public account, mentioning that in the 1980s and 1990s, Zheng Yuanjie received a large number of letters from small readers every day, so that the Beijing Municipal Post Office set up a special mailbox for him. At its peak, thousands of letters are written by young readers every day. What should I do when more and more letters from readers at home can't put it down? Zheng Yuanjie decided to buy a house for young readers to live in. Zheng Yuanjie also said that at that time, it was more painful to lose three books, one was the signed version of the book given to him by the writer Lu Yao, the second was the signed version of the book given to him by the writer February River, and the third was the signed version of the book given to him by Han Meilin, these three books have not been found, until a few days ago, he saw someone selling Han Meilin's signature version on the Confucius network, he immediately went to Weibo @ Ping An Beijing, and the result was that this person was caught in less than 24 hours.
