The box BM-400 and box BM-600 come from the "Octopus" 1.0 platform, and the chassis parts of the two models are shared by 95%. The box BM-400 will be launched in April 2023, the box BM-600 will be launched in the third quarter of 2024, and as of December 10, the intended orders for box cars exceeded 42,000 units. It is reported that the price of the box BM-400 model is 130,000 yuan, and the price of the box BM-600 is 170,000 yuan.
Zhang Zhiguang, founder and president of Box Car, said that Box Car will focus on the B-end market in the future, and the goal of Box Car is to become the first place in the B-end market in the future. The two models released today are from the "Octopus" 1.0 platform, and on May 15 next year, Box Cars will officially release the "Octopus" 2.0 platform.
Box BM-400
The box BM-400 is a three-row, five-seater model that will be officially launched in April 2023. The new car is equipped with 4 displays on the body, and will create a vibrant city in the future, and the color and pattern of the display will be adjusted according to the characteristics of each city.
In terms of body size, the box BM-400 has a length, width and height of 4530/1900/1790mm and a wheelbase of 2850mm. The new car adopts an electric sliding door and a 1+1+3 seat layout inside, which can realize the multi-field use of the B-end market.
In terms of intelligent networking, the new car will be equipped with high-DO system and support OTA upgrades. In addition, the front and rear bumper drivers of the box car can be self-removed, and if there is a slight scratch, the driver can purchase the bumper through the APP to achieve self-service replacement. In terms of mileage, the new car has a RANGE of 420km and 530km, and supports power exchange technology.
Box BM-600
The box BM-600 adopts a three-row, six-seat layout, focusing on the high-end rental market, and the new car will be mass-produced and launched in the third quarter of 2024. In terms of body size, the box BM-600 has a length, width and height of 4900/1900/1790mm and a wheelbase of 3100mm.
The box BM-600 comes from the self-developed Octopus 1.0 platform, and the new car is equipped with high-DO system and intelligent cockpit. In terms of cruising range, the box BM-600 has a NEDC cruising range of 600km.
