The Winter Olympics Yanqing Uniform and Registration Sub-Center Opens for Operation The staff of yanqing competition area receives uniform equipment for the first time

Yesterday morning, the Yanqing Uniform and Registration Sub-Center of the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games was officially opened to the public, and for the first time, uniforms and equipment were distributed to the staff of the venue team in Yanqing.

Yanqing Uniforms and Registration Sub-Center is a non-competition venue responsible for the issuance of uniforms for staff, volunteers and technical officials in Yanqing, as well as the preparation, issuance, activation and problem handling of registration certificates, and is the first officially operated Winter Olympic venue in Yanqing. The venue operation team began to enter the Badaling International Convention and Exhibition Center on September 3, and searched for explosions and locked on December 1, which was the first venue for the Beijing Winter Olympics to be locked and operated. After a few days of the process of making, issuing and issuing uniforms and equipment inside the venue, the Yanqing Uniform and Registration Sub-Center was officially opened to the public.

At 10 a.m. yesterday, the staff of the national bobsleigh center operation team, which just finished the bobsleigh World Cup test event last month, came to the Yanqing Uniform and Registration Sub-Center. After temperature scanning, security inspection, identity verification and other links, they collected registration documents and activated on the spot under the guidance of volunteers. Subsequently, they went to the uniform distribution center, registered with the identity registration card, tried it on the spot, and received a set of light, warm, beautiful and comfortable uniforms and equipment at different collection desks. Lin Jinwen, director of the National Bobsleigh Center, who was the first staff member to receive uniformed equipment, said: "I am very excited to wear this equipment. I think the clothes are light, warm, and the design is novel. ”

Wang Chao, coordinator of sports competition operation at the National Bobsleigh Center, said: "When trying on clothes, it is more fitting and in line with humanized design. I feel very proud that the Beijing Winter Olympics are about to start, and we are very excited to welcome the Beijing Winter Olympics. Getting this set of uniforms and equipment, I feel that the Beijing Winter Olympics are really coming, this is a heavy love, and we are ready. ”

In accordance with the conventions of the Olympic Games, the Yanqing Uniform and Registration Sub-Center has compiled a uniform dress and care manual, which details the types of uniforms, dress codes, wearing times and precautions, and wearing uniforms in accordance with these uniform policies is also an important obligation for participants in the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Wang Yixing, uniform distribution manager of the operation team of Yanqing Uniform and Registration Sub-center, said: "I am very confident in our streamline design, logistics scheduling, uniform distribution arrangements, today is the first day of operation, the whole team is in very good shape, and I am very much looking forward to seeing our uniforms on the Winter Olympics. Today I saw so many people serving the Beijing Winter Olympics coming to collect their uniforms and equipment, and I could feel their joyful mood and feel that the Winter Olympics were just around the corner. ”

During the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the Yanqing Uniform and Registration Sub-Center is expected to issue about 20,000 identity registration cards to 2 competition venues and 4 non-competition venues in Yanqing, more than 4,000 people to receive uniforms, and about 71,200 pieces of various uniforms and equipment.

Shougang ice master Liu Yongliang:

"Making ice for the Winter Olympics is both a concern and an honor!"

Today, Liu Yongliang, head of ice making and venue management of Shougang Park Sports Center of Shougang Group, and three other colleagues opened the "Winter Olympic Time" and set off from Shougang Park to the Capital Gymnasium to ensure the ice surface of the Winter Olympic Figure Skating and Short Track Speed Skating Events. Liu Yongliang is full of expectations for the next work.

Liu Yongliang, 39, is an ice maker responsible for the pre-ice and post-ice surface maintenance work at the site. But his job is not only to produce high-quality ice surfaces, but also to manage the "four pieces of ice" in Shougang Park - ice hockey, curling, figure skating and short track speed skating training venues for national team training ice, to prepare athletes for service guarantees. Since 2016, the ice-making schemes of various competitions jointly researched and completed by him and the ice-making team have independent intellectual property rights, which has become an important technical data for Shougang Group's ice-making profession in the field of urban services in the future.

Liu Yongliang was once a shunting officer in charge of railway transportation molten iron in Shougang Transportation Department, and after the complete suspension of production in the old shougang plant in 2010, he chose to stay behind like many old employees and stand on the "last shift".

In 2016, an ice-making study registration form completely changed the trajectory of his life. "I thought ice making was fun and I wanted to get a challenging job." Out of curiosity, Liu Yongliang seized the opportunity to sign up and trained and studied at the Capital Gymnasium for five months. In the eyes of outsiders, ice making is freezing water into ice, and Liu Yongliang initially understood it this way. But after studying on the spot, he found that the process of making ice surfaces was very complicated. Some people say that the ice maker is a "finely crafted" craftsman on the ice, which is not an exaggeration: every step must strictly control the error, accurate to millimeters or even microns, and even the method, dosage, speed and ground temperature of sprinkling water have strict requirements.

Liu Yongliang plunged into the ice rink and learned ice making with domestic ice experts, and finally got started to carry out the whole process of ice making practice after a year. From watching the bustle to looking at the doorway, he has experienced quenching experience. In the ice making process, the red and blue lines on the track seem simple, but it is the most difficult process for the ice maker. Drawing lines must be formed at once, Liu Yongliang squatted on the ground for three or four hours when drawing lines on ice, and he was really tired and could only stretch his legs to relax.

With the arrival of the Beijing cycle of the Winter Olympic Games, Shougang Park has undertaken more and more large-scale events. For the icemakers who maintain the ice surface, the competition period is the busiest time for Liu Yongliang and his colleagues. From 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., they are on standby at the ice rink to test and improve their ice-making skills in real combat. In addition to ice making, Liu Yongliang also needs to know the ice unit equipment well, he not only carefully read and learn the equipment manual, but also has time to watch the maintenance process of the equipment manufacturer on the spot, and participate in the maintenance of the equipment throughout the process, which has mastered the process performance and maintenance requirements of all the equipment.

After entering the Capital Gymnasium, Liu Yongliang and his team members will be responsible for the ice making and event support of figure skating and short track speed skating in the stadium. Presenting the dreamlike "Winter Olympic Ice" for athletes and spectators is not only his concern, but also an honor.
