Recently, foreign media reported that the British antitrust agency "Competition and Markets Authority" (CMA) released a report that Google and Apple have firmly controlled how users use mobile phones, depriving users of any meaningful choice. The CMA said that Apple and Google constitute their own ecosystem through multiple products such as operating systems, app stores, and web browsers. Therefore, it is extremely difficult for other companies to enter a new system and compete meaningfully with it. At the same time, the CMA believes that this control may limit innovation and choice and lead to higher prices, which is not good news for users.

However, both Apple and Google say that these controls are in place to ensure the security and quality of the overall service provided to users, in some cases to protect users' personal information. In this regard, the CMA has suggested a number of options that may solve the problem, including making it easier for users to switch between Apple and Google's mobile systems, but without losing functionality and data.
