UNI-V will open for pre-order in January next year

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a Changan Blue Whale powered 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 138 kW, matching a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. In addition, on the basis of the ordinary version, a Special Edition of Changan UNI-V with its own modification kit will be launched.

Judging from the currently known product configuration, UNI-V has a good competitiveness in the same level of market. With the best sales of the PLUS family and the UNI product line, Changan Automobile's sales reached 188,030 units in November this year; the cumulative sales volume from January to November was 2122511 units, an increase of 17.7% year-on-year, which has exceeded the sales data of the whole year last year. Despite many "black swan events" such as the epidemic and supply chain shortages in 2021, Changan Automobile's completion of the annual sales target of 2.2 million vehicles is basically a foregone conclusion.

On December 14, Lifan Technology announced that it intends to jointly invest in the establishment of a joint venture with Geely Automobile Holdings Co., Ltd., which has a registered capital of RMB 600 million, and the two parties will each invest RMB300 million in monetary funds, with a shareholding ratio of 50%.

At the product level, Lifan Technology has introduced a power-swappable pure electric MPV model under Geely Technology Group. Geely will help Lifan accelerate the transformation of new energy, and the two sides will also cooperate in the fields of travel and power exchange services to reasonably create a power exchange network ecology.
