A lonely role model
——Guo Guanglan's cultural journey
Jiang Yong | Wen
Zigong City has the "Three Great Gems" that represent the local culture: the history of well salt, dinosaurs, and lantern fairs; and the "little three musts": tie-dye, Gong fan, and paper cutting. Zigong cultural celebrity Guo Guanglan also has "three treasures": calligraphy, painting, and ancient poetry.
For Guo Guanglan, calligraphy and ancient poetry are all well-known brands in the country, which is his housekeeping skill. His paintings are calligraphy derivatives, and they also have the momentum of "pepper luck"," which is old and popular. As for his musical talent, he himself regarded it as a hobby that he had once been with his youth, and he had always neglected to dilute it.
What is the situation of an artist who has trekked a long road? The German philosopher Nietzsche once said that Lu Xun, a Chinese literary hero, liked: "The strongest (excellent) person in the world is the loneliest person." Nietzsche's "loneliness" represents a person's mood, personality, and location.
Guo Guanglan has tasted loneliness and indulged in loneliness on the art road he has walked, and when he has achieved something in his career, that spiritual experience will be like poetry, picturesque, dream, and song.
First, the head of the teenager is not lived up to
Guo Guanglan, who is already a new round of flower armor, was born in Niufo Town, Fushun County (now under the jurisdiction of Da'an District, Zigong City), the "hometown of talents"; when he entered the special era of "culture" being "revolutionized" with a junior high school education, he was tired of the option of "rebellion and reasoning", nor did he like to become a "great criticism" fighter who "doubted everything and denied everything", but instead fanatically admired classical "culture", and even did not know that he threw himself into a special path that was very different from the "breaking of the four olds". He studied classical, admired ancient ink, loved ancient rhymes, and chased ancient winds to consume the turbulent youth.
At that time, he not only played instruments such as churn sheng, flute, erhu, and so on, but also was good at singing and singing, and he could also fill in the lyrics and compose music. What level of music did he compose? Just after smashing the "Gang of Four", he composed a song that praised the new era, which was rehearsed and sung by the Nie'er Choir of Yunnan Province, and was repeatedly broadcast by the Central People's Radio. A few years later, he suddenly turned to the focus of calligraphy as the main focus of his future interests, and the music he used to love gradually faded out, and the reputation of calligraphy became more and more popular. However, he has quietly infiltrated the rhythm of music into the creation of calligraphy, and the splash of ink is more ethereal and ethereal than that of the average connoisseur.
Second, I want to keep a thousand autumn pens
People who know Guo Guanglan's hometown know that Guo Guanglan is calm and quiet, indisputable from the world, and has learned five cars and is high in eight buckets, if the thesis is profound and knowledgeable, he deserves to be called a representative of the "hometown of talents".
"The next pen should be a thousand autumn thoughts", this is Guo Guanglan's ambition to practice calligraphy. He plans to read poetry and ink and take a path of "text" to cultivate "characters". In his eyes, calligraphy is divided into internal and external skills, external skills: teaching the ancients, drawing a good "circle"; internal skills: reading more good books, full of connotation. He did this extraordinary, originating from the Book of Poetry and the Chu Ci, and he was familiar with the Four Books and Five Classics, the Twenty-Four Histories, and the poetry of the Tang and Song Dynasties. Boasting that he is full of economy is not a joke. Guo Guanglan is a senior member of the Chinese Poetry Society, and Wei Minglun, a Chinese theater master and Bashu ghost talent who is adjacent to him at home, read a group of ancient poems published by him in the "Huaxia Yinyou" edited by Wang Chenggang, a famous scholar who "talks about pingshu in poetry, rhymes with pingshui", and suddenly felt that he was not unusual, and knocked on the door in the middle of the night to wake him up with good news.
Guo Guanglan locked his goal of pursuing "Mo Dao" at the peak of his profession and entered a state of intoxication and fanaticism. To this end, he traveled thousands of miles, tirelessly, stepped on the ancient roads in the deserted suburbs, visited the deep mountain Zen temple, immersed himself in ancient monuments, copied ancient links, copied ancient monuments, opened his eyes to the towering peaks, and pondered exquisitely in the valleys, so that he spent several months and years on the journey, enjoying it tirelessly. He also adopted the method of selling words for food, and went to the city of Beijing to study for a year in the senior calligraphy training class of famous teachers, and personally watched the voice of the golden stone of the contemporary masters of calligraphy and painting, feasted on their dashing style of splashing ink, and obtained the true transmission of their unsparing teachings. He is like a worker bee that flaps its wings all day, picking a hundred flowers and flowers, just to make a luscious beauty that everyone admires.
Guo Guanglan has worked at the Museum of Salt Industry History in China for more than 20 years, engaged in the protection of cultural relics. When he saw the exquisite stone and wood carvings in the ancient buildings of the museum, he couldn't help but be thrilled, determined to decipher the original will of his predecessors one by one. He spent more than ten years, fully mobilized his own accumulation of knowledge, traveled and heard, and wrote a thick academic classic "The Art of Wood Carving and Stone Carving in the Western Qin Guild Hall" in a cold and summer, and people who understood it said good, and people who knew him said they were tired, but he smiled with an indifferent and calm attitude, made a stop in time, and silently focused on the next thing he cared about.
Third, the method of thinking about change in the years of decay
Some people say that in history, all the outstanding scholars who have succeeded in their careers have mostly inherited the essence of traditional Chinese culture, and often have the spiritual outlook of the Trinity of Confucianism and Taoism, the Confucian attitude of "joining the WTO", such as the engine of a car; the Taoist orientation of "coming out of the world", such as the brakes of a car; and the "enlightenment" insight of the Shi family, such as the steering wheel of a car. The most capable of these characteristics is Su Shi of the Northern Song Dynasty, who is a typical literati who combines the perfect personality of classical Chinese intellectuals.
If Guo Guanglan holds a Taoist-style dilution and retreat in the face of fame and fortune disputes, then he chooses Confucian-style enthusiasm and persistence in his career, and has the standing style of "Tianxingjian, a gentleman who strives for self-improvement". The ink characters he shot combine ancient monuments, posters and fashion aesthetic elements in one furnace, not only has the solemn momentum preferred by calligraphers in the ancient Han and Wei dynasties, but also has a maverick personality like today's modern painters, writing a strange font that is not easy to recognize. For Guo Guanglan's calligraphy, Wei Minglun once admired it, and lamented inadequacy: "It is not easy to recognize." The well-known writer Liao Shixiang has a talk show "doctor, Taoist, Guo Guanglan". The meaning of his words is nothing more than the doctor's prescription, the Taoist's charm, and Guo Guanglan's words, all of which seem to be difficult to read the "Heavenly Book". Despite this, Guo Guanglan has long been a well-known and powerful figure in the calligraphy world, and even if his calligraphy works are somewhat "detached from the masses" and "on the top", it does not affect his source in the professional field, he has won cups and received awards in many competitions at home and abroad, becoming a heavyweight who joined the Chinese Calligraphers Association earlier in Sichuan, and his big seal has occupied the supreme position of "fighting all over the world" of "lonely and defeated".
It was only when Guo Guanglan realized in the complaints of his friends that he realized that although he had completed the "difficult action" of "picking up the Nine Heavenly Stars" from a professional point of view, he still had to have the "popular style" of "touching fish and shrimp in the river" to make his calligraphy easy to be gladly accepted by the villagers who lived in ordinary alleys. Guo Guanglan is well-educated, skilled, reiki and understanding are also outstanding, when he turns the corner, he quickly completed a brave refinement similar to Qi Baishi's "decay and change method", experienced a violent confrontation between daya and the great customs of the artistic transmutation, he broke the artistic bottleneck of "good looking and not recognizable", so that calligraphy completed the docking of the insider's doorway and the layman's lively viewing, and the painting technology also touched the bypass and greatly improved. Since then, he has gathered the nobility of calligraphy and the tackiness of the world into a unique and vivid vitality, and his calligraphy and paintings have flown from the former royal palace "Yan" to the "auspicious bird" of ordinary people's homes, and has won the strong popularity of Tiannanhaibei with its colorfulness, and an art road has appeared a humble and simple high atmosphere.
Fourth, confidants are all over the world
Guo Guanglan was originally not good at selling himself, he was poor and happy, and he was not afraid to live quietly in the downtown area and no one asked. However, after half a century of trekking on the art road, his footprints have been all over the inaccessible peaks and valleys. He is quite like a well-known worker who has lived in a deep alley for a long time, but he has already brewed a pot of good wine that overflows the window, so there is always no shortage of "diners" in his family who have come from thousands of miles all over the year.
When Taiwanese elder Chen Lifu was 101 years old, he asked his secretary to bring Guo Guanglan a picture of himself, with a line of optimist writing on the back: "How can I live so long!" On the mainland, Deputy Commander Li of the Wuhan Military Region, who has made great achievements in battle, sent someone to pick him up a few years ago, inviting Guo Guanglan, Leshan painter Wang Weiyi, Chengdu painter Huang Yongcheng, and others to stay at the Xiaohongshan Hotel in the Wuhan military camp for dozens of days, and at a little leisure, they exchanged calligraphy with him and discussed the exquisite poetry. Guo Guanglan was a generous person, not like the kind of speculators who climbed up the pole, he had great respect for Deputy Commander Li, but he never asked him for a business card, a telephone, or even how to write his name. However, Deputy Commander Li always kept Guo Guanglan in mind, and after Guo Guanglan returned to Fushun, he also entrusted his subordinates to rush to Guo Guanglan's temporary apartment rented on the outskirts of Fushun City and bring two bottles of Maotai and a bunch of local specialties, which made Guo Guanglan excited and did not know how to do it. Not long ago, Mao Xushang, former vice mayor of Urumqi, Xinjiang, specially invited Guo Guanglan to stay for more than a month, and local well-known figures and business owners visited or drove to the banquet every day, telling wine and talking about poetry, all of which were honored to obtain an ink treasure he waved on rice paper.
Guo Guanglan never envied the floating name, nor did he waste his name, he integrated calligraphy cultivation and academic literacy into a furnace of couplet creation, and it is a sought-after commodity for elegant and popular appreciation. In 2008, Dujiangyan City issued a "hero post" to collect guest couplets from scenic spots at home and abroad, Guo Guanglan made the "Tide Ying Irrigation Mouth, Flowers Full of Qingcheng" to take away the "Gold Award" in one fell swoop, and the experts of the China Yuelian Society awarded the award: "It can be described as magnificent and the realm is vast." The Yulei Mountain Gate Arch is engraved with another couplet he wrote: "People go to Shuzhong to see the water first, and the clouds cross the bottom of the staff and look for the mountain", which is deeply rooted in Du Shaoling's artistic conception of "The floating clouds of Yulei become ancient and modern", which is well received by tourists.
The Tang Dynasty Chen Ziang's "Dengyouzhou Tai Song" wrote: "I did not see the ancients before, and I did not see those who came after me." Thinking of heaven and earth, alone but weeping. In fact, this kind of desolate smell that is only a shadow is a kind of enterprising realm that inherits the past and opens up the future. Moreover, the true meaning of the "ink path" is by no means an apparent learning in the shouting and shouting, it needs to be refined in calm, promoted in enlightenment, and can only achieve great things by enduring loneliness. Otherwise, even if it is framed into a hanging scroll and carved with a wooden plaque, it will be taken off and thrown aside for a while, and may not be left in people's memory. Today, Guo Guanglan has moved to the outskirts of Chengdu, he often wanders on the country road, he wrote his life away from the hustle and bustle into the "Inscription Studio Seed Dream Building Poem": "Moving home to three weirs, for a long time can not distinguish things." The mountains are good to stay outside the clouds, and the books are more than the houses. Crooked a few words, idle a few chickens. The plum in the dream opened all over the place, and woke up with a low window moon."
Only those who have penetrated the Ink Dao have the courage to get rid of the shackles of fame, the determination to endure loneliness and loneliness, and the sincerity to sense the heavens and the earth, in this sense, Guo Guanglan is really worthy of people's expectations. He is like a climber who is willing to leave his footprints on the dangerous peaks of the clouds, embracing the ideal of beauty, pursuing it alone beyond people's sight, and constantly refreshing new artistic heights. Perhaps, the traces he left in his hometown had been covered with dust and washed away by wind and rain. However, the calligraphy, paintings and ancient poems that he regarded as the "three treasures" of his life were not only praised among high-end people, but also spread word of mouth among countless folk friends.
