On December 9, 2021, Jiangsu Karen Building Materials Co., Ltd. and China Three Gorges Group Jiangsu Energy Investment Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement after friendly consultation, adhering to the principle of "deep mutual trust, strategic synergy, complementary advantages, and win-win cooperation".
Accompanied by Qian Lindi, chairman of Karen Shares, Yuan Yingping, chairman and general manager of Jiangsu Energy Investment Co., Ltd. (Jiangsu Branch) of China Three Gorges Group, and Wang Li, deputy general manager, first went to the Wujiang District People's Government to hold a discussion, and Ji Hengyi, deputy mayor of Wujiang District, introduced Karen shares in the exchange, affirmed the company's positive performance in the integrated development of green ecology in the Yangtze River Delta, and placed full confidence and high hopes on the signing of cooperation between the two sides.
Subsequently, the two sides went to the Karen Polymer Industrial Park for a signing ceremony. Qian Lindi said that as a new recruit in the photovoltaic industry, Karen will actively integrate all available resources, serve the Three Gorges Group, continuously learn the advanced nature of central enterprises in operation and management, and do a cause that is beneficial to the country, the industry and customers.
Yuan Yingping, chairman and general manager of China Three Gorges Jiangsu Energy Investment Co., Ltd., said that for many years, China Three Gorges Group has been practicing the "four ones" concept of "building a power station, driving the economy of one side, improving the environment, and benefiting a group of immigrants". Based on the advantages of China Three Gorges Group in new energy development, engineering construction, operation management, technology and the advantages of Karen's CSPV system, the following agreement was reached:
For the distributed photovoltaic projects developed, invested or constructed by the Three Gorges Group, Karen should give full play to the value advantages of the CSV system in the project promotion, and use the resource advantages of personnel, distributors and other resources in the project promotion area to promote the landing of the project. For projects developed by both parties, the relevant resources of the other party shall be recommended under the same conditions, including the CSPV system recommended to the roof owner first.
The two sides agreed to jointly promote the implementation of projects using CSPV systems as soon as possible through the establishment of a joint venture to establish a rooftop distributed photovoltaic power station investment platform company, and agreed to jointly build a research and development laboratory to study the problems in the development, construction and operation of industrial and commercial rooftop photovoltaic projects.
After the signing ceremony, the leaders of the Three Gorges Group visited the photovoltaic exhibition hall, CSPV roof system and polymer membrane production line of the industrial park to understand the construction practices of the system and the performance advantages of the products at close range, laying a good foundation for promoting follow-up cooperation.
