☆ Today we have such a good life,

It was really the ☆ they exchanged their lives for that year

In 1950, Sun Deshan, a 90-year-old veteran soldier, went with his troops to Korea to participate in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, participated in the battle for 2 years and 9 months, and helped Korea resume construction for two years after the armistice.

In the lecture, Sun Deshan veteran soldier emotionally recalled the battle story of that year. He said: "At that time, we were in very poor condition, there was no winter clothes, and each soldier only had enough fried noodles for a few days to fill his hunger. When you are thirsty, you will eat snow and then go into battle. With no air superiority, enemy aircraft wreaked havoc and the fighting was fierce. In such a difficult environment, comrades-in-arms supported each other, encouraged each other, and won one battle after another. ”

"But many of my comrades-in-arms have died, and although I survived, when I think of the young appearance of my comrades-in-arms, an indescribable taste arises in my heart." Today we have such a beautiful life, it is really what they exchanged their lives for, and we must cherish it. Every year I go to the Martyrs' Cemetery to visit my comrades-in-arms, and I can't forget them! ”

For the old hero, there has always been a knot in his heart over the years, that is, "I myself have returned, and my comrades have died." "Therefore, the old heroes must also build exhibition halls to save money and use money, in order to commemorate them and let future generations remember history."

After being demobilized and transferred to work, he returned to his hometown to support himself, did not take credit for himself, saved money and thrift, invested all his savings, spent seven years, raised more than a thousand exhibits, and built an exhibition hall with detailed historical materials and considerable scale reflecting the history of the Revolution to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.

To this day, whenever he recalls the cruelty of war, Sun Deshan will burst into tears.

When the old hero's song accompanied by applause, the students' mood could not be calmed for a long time. Across the Yalu River, the Chinese Volunteer Army cooperated closely with the Korean military and people to create a mighty and majestic war cause, and finally the division of justice won the just war and broke the myth of the invincibility of the US army.
