Flowing in the bones is the blood of the military for the war - the self-narration of the military food supply station

author:Bright Net

During the Spring Festival holiday, the officers and men of the troops stationed in the camp area can enjoy the taste of their hometown in the north and south of the world, and the commanders and fighters who go out on duty can also taste the flavors of dishes from all over the world. Ensuring that officers and men who go out to carry out their duties is precisely my main task.

My name is Military Food Supply Station, or Military Supply Station for short. I was born during the booming Liberation War, a branch of the local people's government along the transportation route, and its initial function was to provide military supplies such as dry food, hot water, and horse forage for the soldiers. Later, I developed into an important window for governments at all levels to support the army, undertaking tasks such as providing food and accommodation for the past troops.

For more than 70 years, I have not worn a military uniform, but what flows in my bones is the blood of the surname army for war. If you don't believe me, listen to me.

From pots and pans to "smart kitchens" –

My guy is getting better and better

"A stove, a few iron pots, a few recipes" is the main thing I used to make. When the troops need support, the staff of the military supply station often have to start preparing around the stove 1 day in advance, and they are busy for a long time to complete the task.

"If a worker desires to do good, he must first use it." In recent years, many local governments have vigorously promoted the upgrading of military equipment in order to improve the efficiency of military dietary support, and my guys have become more and more modern. In Guilin City, Guangxi Province, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, and Chongqing City, Shancheng City, Chongqing City, "Smart Kitchen" has become my new business card.

In simple terms, the "smart kitchen" is to use intelligent systems and equipment to replace all aspects of manual meal preparation. "Smart Kitchen" has a fully automatic chopper, a multi-functional vegetable cutter, a stir-fry robot, etc., which can automate the whole process from vegetable cleaning to box lunch loading, making the time-consuming and laborious process very simple:

The automatic cutting machine can cut the whole chicken, the whole duck, and the large pieces of ribs for the board type chopping, the board is easy to disassemble, which is convenient for the implementation of mobile support; the multi-functional cutting machine can cut all kinds of vegetables into dice, slices, silk, strips and other shapes; the stir-fry robot automatically and accurately injects oil, automatic stir-frying, automatic hooking, automatic dishing, automatic washing, with an average of 30 kilograms per 8 minutes, and stores more than 1,000 "recipes" by itself. In the past, a chef had to do his best to complete dozens of dishes in an hour, but with the help of "smart kitchen", the cooking robot easily completed 170 dishes per hour, and the guarantee efficiency was increased by more than 4 times at once.

With new equipment, don't forget the basics. I continue to encourage the staff to practice their internal skills so that the level of chefs in the military supply system is increasing. The manual operation of these chefs and the cooking process of "smart kitchen" complement each other, quickly cooking delicious dishes, and the officers and soldiers in transit are full of praise after tasting.

From fixed-point support to accompanying support -

My scope of work is getting wider and wider

In many places, military supply stations are built in accordance with the "home-type" model, and facilities such as restaurants, hotels, bathrooms, and libraries are readily available, so that the officers and men of the troops have a warm feeling of going home. In fact, this model stems from my "skill panic": with the continuous acceleration of the movement speed of the transit troops, many times, officers and soldiers do not deliberately go to the military supply station, but choose to protect themselves.

The situation and tasks require me to extend my support tentacles. On the one hand, I set up a front-out support detachment, and on the other hand, I added mobile equipment such as field cooking vehicles and constant temperature delivery trucks, and tried to ensure that wherever the transit troops needed support, I would accompany the support.

You see, the small partners in Shanghai, Chongqing, and Fuzhou in Fujian Province delivered hot meals to the high-speed rail platform and airport terminal; the small partners in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, and Huaibei City, Anhui Province, provided "package-style" services for the officers and men of the troops in the highway service area; and the small partners in Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, also maneuvered 140 kilometers to provide cross-regional support...

In May last year, a dispatch center in the southern theater instructed two military supply stations to go to sea with the ship to support the task troops, and the small partners overcame difficulties such as seasickness, small operating space, poor smoke exhaust effect, and unstable voltage on board, and made "four dishes and one soup" for the officers and men of the ministry on time, on time, with quality and quantity.

Despite some suffering, I didn't hear a single complaint. Because everyone knows that military supply stations have been implementing support on land for a long time, and if they want to extend their tasks to the sea, they will inevitably encounter many challenges, and only by overcoming these challenges can they reflect the responsibility of military supply workers.

From what to eat to personalized ordering -

My service is getting more and more detailed

In the past, officers and soldiers often heard similar "complaints": when they came, they ate chicken nuggets stewed potatoes, and when they went back, they ate potato stewed chicken nuggets... I listened to it and felt very bad. Wishful thinking in providing support is easy to deviate from the actual needs of officers and men, and will turn "chicken legs" into "chicken ribs."

I took the initiative to communicate with the mission troops, arranged for small partners to follow the military column to investigate, and entered the barracks to ask for needs. In response to the personalized catering needs put forward by the officers and men of the army, I have continuously enriched the style of dishes, strengthened the adjustment of meals, and gradually changed the support model from what to do and what to eat and what to do.

In Hefei, Anhui Province, I measured the physical energy consumption index of officers and soldiers during the maneuver, adjusted the proportion of calories, proteins, vitamins and other nutrients in the diet according to the characteristics of the season, and strived to achieve "calorie balance".

In Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, according to the eating habits of the officers and men of the troops, I selected the main and auxiliary foods, accompanied by meat dishes, and provided fruit drinks, so that the commanders and fighters could enjoy "a la carte service."

In Baise City, Guangxi, I adopted the method of cultural atmosphere, allowing officers and soldiers to understand the history of the revolution and pursue the red memory while tasting local specialties...

From single-handedness to joint combat—

My team is getting stronger

In recent years, with the in-depth development of cross-regional exercises in actual combat, my original "individual combat" model has been difficult to meet the needs of the task. In accordance with the requirements of the "joint training and joint guarantee for joint operations," the relevant departments of the armed forces and the veterans' affairs management and support institutions have guided me to establish several sets of working mechanisms for joint combat.

-- The staffing of military supply stations is limited, and there are insufficient manpower for major and urgent tasks. In accordance with the concept of "not seeking everything, but seeking to use it", I selected a number of catering enterprises with strong strength and good reputation, signed the "Emergency Military Supply Support Agreement" with them, and mobilized high-quality social resources to join the ranks of the support troops.

We have established a regional coordination mechanism to let several units form groups to achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages, and to provide support with points and lines and relays.

-- In view of the fact that the needs of transit troops are increasingly increasing, I have explored the formation of a linkage support mechanism in some areas that integrates food and drinking water, medical rescue, material procurement, vehicle maintenance, and fuel supply, so as to provide "package-style" services for troops to win battles.
