According to foreign media reports, Carla Williams, one of the only remaining actresses of Hollywood's golden age, died of a heart attack at her home in Beverly Hills last Thursday (December 9) at the age of 96. Her nephew confirmed the incident by posting on social networking sites.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Carla Williams has been an actor and voice actor since childhood, active in the Golden Age of Hollywood. She has starred in films such as "Suicide by Doing", "The Girl Next Door", "The Story of Helen Morgan", and collaborated with Audrey Hepburn in the film "Monte Carlo Baby", and was nominated for the 31st Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in "Prison Break".

Carla Williams was married three times, having a daughter, Justin Jagoda, after marrying Alan Gray; later married to the son of film legend John Barrymore actor John Drew Barrymore, and the two had a son, John Bryce Barrymore; Carla Williams' third husband was Asher Dann, who died in 2018 after the two married 54 years later.
